I love Homesick and it will always be my favorite adtr album but what separates me from you also has great songs too idk its hard to pick favorites because they're all really good.
+dorothy.13 I literally can't really choose between Homesick, WSMFY, and Common Courtesy most of the time. If i'm forced to I usually side with Homesick because that's the album I first got into. All three are perfect in my eyes.
suprised this is 10 years old now I was just 19. I was just 18 with homesick and saw them in 2013. For those who have heart, homesick, bad vibrations are my favorites.
thanks jeremy ur music has played a third of a part of who i am becoming. and so i wil honor u and try my best to do what u do and to pass down inspiration and faith and hope to the next lostg lonely soul. u are a legend jeremy and i would follow u into any battle without a doubt in ur capabilities and inner strength
Im being totally honest, EVERY song ADTR made i love. . theres not a single song of theirs that i have something negative to say or skip. ADTR 4 LIFE!!!!
i love how when he talks about 2nd suck he has this smirk on his face because he knows he is talking about FYS and he knows everyone knows it is about them
I don't really know why people hate this album so much. This album is such a great release, sure it's different, but damn ya know it's annoying when a band does the same trick every album. And yes, they do that, but at least they did some different kinds of stuff with this album. And no, they did not regress with this album, I think this album was definitely a progression but in a different direction for them.
I live this record very very much and I'll admit, I was kinda into them by Homesick. My band even opened for them and stood side stage and hung out with them day and wasn't into their band until I heard " All signs point to Lauderdale" then I became a Huge fan ! Massive fan! They deserve all the great things happening to them!! Couldn't have happened to harder working guys!!! I'm happy for them!!
"Its one of my favorite songs on the album for that reason" was the way I think he ended almost every description to his songs. True musician? I think yes!
four years strong, they are a band, and a day to remember where touring with thew, and then a day to remember ended up headlining the your and FYS got the shits and and crap like that :P
I honestly enjoyed this, interview. This album was always one of my favorites since I was a kid and it honestly helped me get through a rough time I had later on in, high school, so it was pretty badass listening to, Jeremy talk about each track. 👍
It's true, he's just belting his screams out now, not trying to mix them with a growl as much as he did in the old albums. That's what it sounds like to me anyways. Still love it though.
Oh shit, I understand "All Signs Point to Lauderdale" now. I live in Florida and whenever you're in a shitty spot of Florida (east coast wise) and you're on the road, all the signs point south to Fort Lauderdale (or Miami). If you're on the west coast, all signs point south to Tampa (or Saint Petersburg). If you live in Florida, you'll understand.
lol "2nd sucks this song is directly about people who look at being in a band and our whole life style that we live and look at is as a competition" he meant to say "this song is about four year strong"
dude when i uploaded this video i was in High school. though now im not. i will admit that this album compared to their others probably doesn't stack up but thats because their first 2 albums were VERY good so they suffer in the sense that if they continued to make FTWHH they would get criticized and they thankfully didnt do that. but mixing Hardcore and Pop-punk isnt an easy task. there are lots of band who do a very poor job of it and even if you think this is their worst album they have
Yeah I noticed that, except the last one. He sounds like he just left it there 'cause Kevin wrote it and he didn't want to hurt his feelings by rejecting it. Lol.
yes. when "and their name was treason" was first released. and before that like when they did Last Request, and This Sun Has Set. Yeah :) he even shaved it off recently.
he didn't have one in the early days of adtr. like before ftwhh, look up old pictures from that album. they all still looked like teenagers back then! Lol
I liked Homesick as well but it was more like pop punk and this one's more of a pop rock record. I liked For Those Who Have Heart but Homesick and WSMFY are ok too but just not that screamy.
tier songs are not as good as the other albums. ADTR's best songs on an album are always very goodand just as good as their older work its the other songs that dont stack up well and make older albums superior. summed up their last album was very top heavy and hopefully on their next album its either balanced more or they can step it up with the secondary and tertiary songs.
Sell out album =] Good for them, all the high scholers love them. But for a "For Those Who Have Heart" fan, a bit of a disappointment. And what makes me sad is when I meet someone and I find out they listen to ADTR and I ask them to pick a song they always pick a "What Seperates Me From You" song which is the only songs they know.... =[
