I build car's,I have a 1963 SS hardtop that's got a long way to go, but I'm going to make it happen for sure, and I know for a fact that you are going to do your thing with it and make it happen, that's what we do, turn nothing into something and have them hater's getting on their jobs, but We don't care,as long as We stay on our jobs, continuing to give em something to envy, and wish they could do, Stay Focused and doing your thing Man.
My vote: Stick to the original plan, it's unique. I'm sure others will agree, and if they really want it. They'll pay the price. Custom ain't cheap. Thanks for the shout-out! 🔥🔥🔥
I can see it all black with them wheels 😎 The Black Rooster!! That box needs a lot of love. All that rust is showing dollar signs. She rough but I see it. ✌🏼
Great Video!!! Yes I would love to see you finish the Chicken Box all the way right because nobody else will do it up right like you. I would love to have one but the way my pockets set up!!!! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I say finish it. Nothing better than seeing your artwork being enjoyed by someone else… and yes I agree on the riviera my brother had a 72 and after 15years of having it he sold it and when he did my entire family was Livid!!! About a year later the car was in a major accident and we never seen it again 😢
Go all the way with it Caliboy, it's only right to complete I know for a fact someone in Chicago or Illinois period will be it 60 ,000 without flinching cause we live and breath box Chevy's. Plus it's one of a kind trust know one else can say they got this and I bet everybody start copying of of you. I think It will be right in the top ten coldest box Chevy's in the world bringing in all kinds of car show tropys.
What's up Cali Boy? Great project man! I love the actuator idea you mentioned in the video, check out Spal for the actuators. I think they have them in increments of 6", 8", 10" and so on. I don't have a part number, but I do know that the Spal makes them. As for the motor, it looks like a 305/307, but a 350 wouldn't be far off either. There's no laughing coming from me, I'm ecstatic to see you with this box. I own a '86 Caprice Landau coupe. Go all the way with it! Salute from Miami 💯
@@Adaywithcaliboy You're welcome. 🫡 After watching the video, you do have a point as far as $50-$60k price tag. The safest route would be fixing it up and whoever buys it, finishes it to their liking. It just came to my mind that you do have a 2dr convertible conversion and that's not a "I have that too" kinda car like the '64 Impala. If you do decide to keep it, the possibilities are endless. I'm tuned in nonetheless. P.S. I don't know how you feel about the center belt line trim being added to the car, but it would be the icing on the cake. Just my suggestion.
Gods Speed Cali G. Love it all. Definitely go as deep as the heart knows. With a lil touch left for the next to add thier flavor. As you mention. With your CaliBoy Stamp onne of many box builds. Peace G
I’d love to see the chicken box done but what ever you decide is cool man you got alot of other projects I’m more excited about and look forward to seeing keep em coming💪🏾
Can’t wait to see your vision complete bro ima Chevy boy to ❤ so do your thang I gotta 87 caprice I been restoring for years so I know the process!!! 🤘🏾💪🏾👍🏿
Ok I have to admit, at first I was thinking WTF is he crazy… then you showed off the chrome rack for the drop….. shiiiiiiiiiit son This gonna come hard !!! Can’t wait to see it happen Only thing I would change - get rid of that 3rd brake light. Just my opinion I would also hit up one of these custom interior dudes and make what you need for the interior panels. Maybe some LED accents. Big wheels. LS motor for sure 🙌
I feel ya. I would get the body straight ready for paint all the mechanicals good sell it. If you are not feeling it don’t waste too much money and headache time dealing with a shops.
Bro, finish the box. Don't let bad experiences make you hesitant. Don't give up on mid life crisis either. People work hard at killing other people's dreams. Keep the dreams alive.
Would love to see it done like you envisioned it but if you choose to do it mildly I’m cool with that too I understand. Man your vision would be a sight to see bro.
Yo Cali my brutha, hope to meet you soon in OC Ca. That box is going to be sicc, I see ur vision but honestly I would've purchased a clean box and got the top cut. That car needs a lot of work.
After building my first truck just recently I know how much money really goes in to these builds and ultimately love. If you don't love it bro it's easy to just stop nd cut your loses on this shit. I for one think you could definitely sell that car bro there's too many people with money that doesn't mean anything.
Cali cuzz’n. Let’s keep it 💯. U gon do it the way u do it. Without motivation the car is crap, just look at the lil pic of ur vision 4 it n get to it cuzz
I can see tha vision and I vote to keep goin.. wit that said I can’t remember if you talked about an engine for tha box.. I remember you talkin bout tha cougar engine but I can’t remember for tha box..
it doesn't matter if you complete it or finish it, it's YOUR freaking car man !! If it was mine I'd put 5 swangas and switches or put some music and keep it the same it's clean no matter what
I can tell you that CJ On 32's outta Joliet, Illinois definitely got the bag and likes buying turn-key custom cars. If it's unique he just might cop it.
It Made Looks Rough Right Now But It Will Look Like A Beauty When Is All Finished. I'm Working On A 86 2 Door The Only Think It Needs Is Body Work And Paint I Also Gotta Fix The Molding From The Passanger Side Door The Person I Bought From Drill Screws To Hold It In Place Instead Of Using The Plastic Clips That Hold It In Place
Compared to my 86 regal ! This box in good shape n’ i can mos definitely see you completing it no doubt ! But I get it I also got a 82 Grand Prix n’ I’m lowkey in the middle if I want to keep it or not ! Finding parts is crazy but errything gone present itself 🤙🏾✨
