@@jrdepew Great meeting you guys on the trail. Shane and I finished the NEBDR on Friday and camped at his campground Friday night. We traveled north to south, camping along the way. I had a flat tire (rear) of my own on the trip.

Might get that one done this fall. Any major advice?

@@jrdepew we have heard that it is better to go south to north and I would have to agree it would make Mount Moses a down hill We always do things the hard way lol

@@jrdepew Don't have flat tires, haha. I agree with Shane, south to north may be easier, but we did not have any real difficulty on any of the harder alt routes and we took all of them except a short one when a storm was on us. We are just a couple of intermediate riders on a GSA and T7. There was a Pan America with us for the trip but he missed out on Vermont due to a clutch issue. He had no difficulty when he was with us. Vermont class 4 roads are legit but the sections are not terribly long. Camping was not hard to find. Mostly stayed in US Forest Service campgrounds and one disbursed site in NY on the way up and one heading south on trail. Watching your videos, you will enjoy the trip. I'd definitely do it again.

It came with the bike from previous owner. It’s a Britannia made in Canada I believe. Room for added accessories. I have the volt meter and dual usb port with water proof cover. There is room behind it for a buss bar that I did install. The windscreen comes in two sizes and is fully adjustable. At 5’10” I have the least buffet with it fully lowered. It’s spendy and I probably wouldn’t buy it for that reason, but it looks cool!

​@@jrdepew You tend to express many of my own sentiments. I've found the majority of riders to be decent people who treat others well and are eager to help their fellows in need. Responsible people who stand for decency and respect, who recognize one's circumstances and decisions are key to achievement and the pursuit of happiness. But there are exceptions!! I would still love to get together for a local ride. It's been a busy warm season for me with projects involving the kids and such. I haven't gotten out for a proper ride in the dirt. Just riding grandkids around the home trails on kids bikes. We did take the road bike over 33 to the kids' before the heat wave hit, but other than that it's been other stuff that needs to be done. I'm not complaining but I do miss my rides. Cheers!

I have been using Gaia GPS online MAPS for several years. Until recently it with my chosen GPX tracks were loaded on a hardened phone used just for nav. I now am using a Samsung Tab7 Lite in a protective case. Gaia is yearly subscription and has many map overlays to chose from.
