Kerry Hodgson received 307 electro-convulsive therapy (ECT) treatments over the course of 10 years. It was supposed to help with her depression. Instead, it wiped out much of her long-term memory.

"If you haven't got memory, you haven't got life." So many people harmed by ECT can relate to this.

It's also induce cognitive issue. It takes myself more time to learn things than before I had ECT (I had "only" 5 ECT), which is really frustrating because I wanted to come back to university and I can be as efficient as I want to. Also had the memory loss (came back for me after 2/3 years but I had less ECT).

It's my memories that depress me. I'd like to have them removed and start again. I want this cure called ECT! Does it come in a pill or an injection?
