34:27 re that scene with Damon removing Jeremy's memories again - I always understood that scene to be saying that Jeremy knew what was going to happen and chose to allow it. Damon says they need to "have another one of their chats" and Jeremy absolutely has to know that he's referring to the last time that Damon took his memories. I think Jeremy is just so done with dealing with all the supernatural stuff, he's just been betrayed by Tyler and has already suggested they all leave town to escape, that he just wants to forget and move on. And that's what makes it extra emotional for Elena, and the viewer imo

I always assumed the reason Caroline's bite is much faster (and we see it in other cases too later on) is because Tyler is a hybrid now and thus the venom is more potent, versus back when he bit Damon when he was just a werewolf. Same thing with how quickly it works when Klaus bites people later. Though the age of the vampire bitten might also be a very good point? Maybe it's both? Also, I think Bill is the 1st to actually not complete the transition, but refusing it would be I think Damon himself. He also instantly didn't want to turn considering he thought Katherine was dead...

I’d assume the whole fast werewolf bite for Caroline is bc Tyler is a hybrid now. Rose was bitten by just a wolf and same with Damon, it was still Tyler here but he wasn’t a hybrid yet.

For 12:24: The Dagger starts to loose his ability to put to them sleep hundreds of years in. We learn this in s3 of the Originals when Finn and Elijah talk about their experiences with the dagggers. Towards the end Finn was basically trapped in his body while perceiving the world around him.

About how it must feel being daggered Finn actually talks about it to Elijah in the Originals; because he was daggered for the longest out of any of them he describes it as sitting in darkness with only a pin prick of light not being able to move or think or do anything or something along those lines it’s been a while since I’ve watched that scene front to back. And they wonder why he wants to kill them and remove himself as a vampire 😅

the timing of the werewolf bites poisoning vamps makes sense when you remember where vamps are being bitten. caroline and rose were bitten on their necks, the location of the carotid artery. blood pumps faster from the heart and back (and closer to the brain which causes hallucinations). damon was bitten on the arm. blood pumps slower the farther it has to travel to and from the heart. once a vamp's (extremely slow) heartbeat is stopped then that's it for them.
