Cool information! I wish Modern Gibson wasn't so basic with their standard USA line and their vanilla colours: Black, Wine red, Sun burst. Cherry Red. We get it, it's a grandpa company and it's just fancy looking furniture. Gimme shell pink les pauls, daphne blue SGs, Bring back the firebird in ocean turquoise or Fiesta red. Sure there is the demo shop/mod collection, but it leaves a lot to be desired and I think it will attract new/younger playersto Gibson. Part of the reason why I got my Anaconda Gibson Les Paul as it is more unique that your standard variants.
Thanks for watching. and, yeah, seems like you need to be able to afford the custom shop stuff to get into the fancy colors. But, I think there's always been an upcharge for custom colors. That's why they're rare.
@@philtron1969 Good grief that's a gorgeous guitar. I have a 2014 Firebird V with a stop tail that plays flawlessly buy I miss having a vibrato and the current crop of custom shop Birds are nowhere to be found/are still not shipping (after being introduced 2 years ago). I also would rather not spend $8K on one.
