A Demo of Common BIM to BEM Workflows Using gbXML and the New gbXML Validator 

gbXML.org and IBPSA-USA both sponsored a gbXML webinar titled: "A Demo of Common BIM to BEM Workflows Using gbXML and the New gbXML Validator". This webinar was targeted toward energy modelers, energy auditors, engineers, architects, software vendors, and generally anyone who interested in learning about Building Information Modeling (BIM) to Building Energy Modeling (BEM) workflows utilizing gbXML and the new gbXML validator.
The agenda was as follows:
1. Overview of gbXML by Stephen Roth
2. Presentation by Greg Collins of Zero Envy who discussed his successes and struggles with BIM to BEM workflows using gbXML.
3. Presentation and demo by Krishnan Gowri of Intertek who discussed the new gbXML validator that was developed as part of an ASHRAE research project (RP-1810).
