Hi everyone- this video is my most challenging one yet! I always joke about my 90s brows, but my eyebrows are probably one of my biggest insecurities! However finally (at the age of 41) I’ve reached a point where I’m actually fairly content with my brow routine. I have barely any brow hair & I also have the remnants of microblading to contend with; so it’s a challenge! I feel like my brow routine is very simple and I would love to share it with you in this step by step tutorial ☺️

This has been an issue with me because I was convinced to pluck them and make them thinner when I was younger. That was of course a mistake since now, I must fill them in daily. This video helps a lot in determining the best products and techniques to use. Love the sisters not twins remark. Made me smile. I just purchased my first brow pen, thanks to you and this video. Your ability to show us in detail what we can do to improve our brows is so helpful. Thank you as always, lovely lady. ❤

I just received the brow slim pencil by Maybelline that you suggested and it is amazing. This provides a more natural look than the thick brow pencil and powder I use. What a terrific helpful hint by you! Such a difference for my sparse brows. I have learned more from you in the past two weeks than any other person on YT. And yes, so true about the plucking, but thanks to your advice and expertise, I now can enhance my brows much more effectively! I’m so happy and thank you again. ❤ 😘

A welcome change from the "pro" channels that show techniques quickly and without detail - and, I think, filters, which make it hard to actually see the work. That is not to say you aren't as informed and skilled as the many 'big' content creators I've seen. Excellent demonstration with great product recommendations. Thank you!

Hi Carmel!! Thanks for this tutorial. Sorry you've had a negative microblading experience. I also overplucked (in the 80's) and now have 3 hairs and a wish 🤣. I've only recently started tinting my brows permanently as I thought it would be a waste of time, but you're so right, there are tiny hairs that are only visible when tinted, makes a real difference to the end result. I've used Maybelline tattoo brow ( the peel off one) in the past but the colours throw orange or are too dark. I've used 'just for men' in medium brown and have been really pleased with the effect. Will have another go with a pen now, usually use a pencil. Used a pen once and thought it was too dark, will try brushing with a spoolie for a softer effect!! Thank you so much Carmel! Xx❤

3 hairs & a wish, that made me laugh 😂 Why on earth did we do it to ourselves?! 🙃 I’ve always wondered about the Maybelline tattoo! I do know that with a lot of brow products, finding a good colour match can be a real issue; I’m just lucky that I can always go for a dark shade but it must be really tricky if you’re any fairer! I’ve been dying my own brows for at least 15 years. I use the Just for Men beard dye. A box lasts more than a year and costs about $15.00CDN. You only use a pea size amount of the colour and developer and mix it. My brows are sparse, thin and grey/silver. It lasts about ten days. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I tweak with a fine brow pencil. I’m going to purchase the Maybelline build a brow.

@@CarmelNicoleBeauty You are so welcome. It’s been a game changer. I was getting my brows done at the salon/spa for $16.00 plus tip each visit. It does colour the skin but if you’re precise applying it, it doesn’t matter. It also washes away in a day or two. Actually, because my brows are so thin I rather like drawing on a little more thickness. I don’t use the brush that comes with the package. I use a toothpick to apply it. Nice and precise. 👍🏻🫶
