Ahh, the elusive Collection concealer! Every American girl who read blogs or watched RU-vid between 2008-2013 wanted to get their hands on one! I have also found the ELF camo concealers to look very cakey. ive gone through a tube of each formula but I agree with liking the original a tad more than the hydrating. If I can find the Essence and Morphe I will have to try those next! They look lovely on you!

I loved this video. 🥰 My favorite drugstore concealer is Covergirl trublend under cover concealer. It has great coverage and doesn’t crease.I’m going to try your top two recommendations.🎉

As usual, your vid is so helpful because you thoroughly test, inform and illustrate. Appreciate all the work you did. I had the same reaction to the Maybelline Age Rewind. There was so much publicity for it, so I tried it, but it did not work for me. I will try the Revlon Colorstay because I love Revlon products, and it is in your overall picks. I use the Lancome concealer, but even though it is high end, I am not thrilled with it. Thanks again for giving me the information I need to find a concealer that works for my dry undereyes, and will hopefully reduce or diminish creasing.

Another great video, I could just watch you talk all day…love how you just always come across as natural, honest and authentic 🥰 Definitely going to try the Paula’s Choice, it’s been on my wish list for a while. It’ll come as no shock that I have the Haus Labs foundation but still haven’t tried it yet (I’m a disaster!). Here’s a REALLY difficult question…you said that you chose it because it was the best all-rounder, but is it actually your favourite foundation ever???? 🤔 Speaking of foundation, the Dcypher saga has come to an end. They sent me a second one which still wasn’t right, so they refunded me straight away! Great customer service 👍 If only all makeup brands did that when you get the wrong shade 😫

I love so many others, the Nars, Chanel No 1, the Makeup Forever, the Hourglass, the Elf Satin…but there’s just something different about the HL. It gives great coverage without caking or settling, has just the right amount of luminosity & sets down to stay all day. Now having said that, my friend isn’t the biggest fan at all. It really does depend on your skin type & preferences I guess? But please…go and try it out Charlene 😂 So annoying about the Dcypher but sounds like you had the best customer service. And great that you got refunded! But still, your quest goes on 🫠 Don’t worry, we’ll find you the perfect foundation! I know, I’m ridiculous…I have three foundations on the go at the moment; Dior Forever Matte, YSL Touché Eclat and NYX Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop. None are “it” but I like them. I tell myself it’s silly to open the Haus Labs when I should finish at least one of the others…is that nuts?!! 😂 Do other people do that?? I have so many to try that I’ll probably be dead by the time I get to the last one 🤣 The quest continues indeed! My dog’s leg is getting much better, trying to keep him from running/jumping/climbing stairs is THE WORST but he’s getting X-rayed next week to see if he’s allowed more freedom…pray for me 🙏 Have a great rest of your week too missus!! Sorry I'm late! First, I was very far under the weather...and then this week is my last opportunity to get everything clean and organized before my sweetheart comes home. Even though I can't purchase anything right this minute...I still wrote down products and colors! No one wants to spend money on "not as good as" products, nor do we want to spend more money on items that have excellent dupes! You are always so spot on with your videos that I think I can wait and then purchase several of these products at once! As always, you look beautiful!!!

Ok I know I said I'm on a low-buy but I'm going to have to get the stain in Whimsical and the lip liner in Rosewood.... I can't resist a good lipliner and I'm loving lip stains lately too! They used to be so patchy, but the newer formulas have really improved. I have the Sacheu Beauty ones and I really like them. I'm interested in the stains from Romand but these Wonderskin ones look pretty amazing. Perfect summer makeup item!
This was a delight to watch while getting ready this morning! So many of your items are on my wishlist but I am on a bit of a low-buy this year because my vanity is overflowing 🙃🫣 So many luxury products are just so worth it, you're right!
Great video:) I fully agree with your Ruby woo comments. From the new formula the “Get a hint” is amazing, it’s very close to the Estee Lauder Rebellious Rose(universal shade that compliments all skin tones) in half price and better formula. The new packaging is better in the sense that the mac logo does not fade.

Thank you for another great vid. I use approx. 75% high end and 25% drugstore products. I use mostly Lancome because my best friend told me about their mascara. I went for the complete line after that. I also use Maybelline and Revlon products. But, The Rare Beauty blush looks intriguing and so does the Haus Labs foundation as I have never really found a foundation that works for me.
@@Ltmotley Ah thank you so much Laurie 😘 It’s funny that you mention mascara, I’m currently working on a big high end mascara comparison…it’s taking me a while though 😂 I think drugstore have improved their products so much these days, they’re definitely much higher quality than they used to be! Foundation is so tricky because we all have such different skin but the Haus Labs is definitely a beauty! 🩷☺️

Hello Carmel, I will have to try the Maybelline product because I find it has a very natural effect on the skin. I have roughly the same skin tone as you with olive undertones too and it's very difficult to find a product dyed with an olive undertone. Thank you for sharing

Hi! Where in the world are you? In Europe we definitely have 34. However, I just looked over on the US website & it seems the shades are numbered differently! I didn’t realise. The best thing to do is to look at the shade description to find the best match 💕

@@Alliecat670 Hi there! So I did email Maybelline but didn’t hear anything back as yet. I’ve trawled through the shades and I think the closest match for you would be 220. This is described as ‘light medium with warm subtle olive undertones’. It actually sounds like a great option if you’re a similar shade to me! These shades are somewhat flexible, so I wouldn’t overly worry if it’s not exact. Sorry if that’s not helpful! Please do let me know how you get on and I’ll let you know if I hear back from Maybelline ☺️

I love that you recognize that everyone’s skin is different. I just threw away my L’Oréal because I always chose the Maybelline over it; way better for my 57 y/o skin!

Hi Carmel! The L'Oreal looks so beautiful and airbrushed on you! I remember it oxidizing when I owned it a couple years ago. I didn't love it at the time when I lived in humid, tropical Florida 🌴🏖☀but my skin is much drier now. I've been looking at the Maybelline tint and much prefer the shade range. I think the Maybelline is very skin-like on you! Both are so nice. I do agree that the L'Oreal wears into more of a skin-like finish on you but the Maybelline looks a tad more makeup-y as the day went on. Very interesting! I think I will have to try the Maybelline now.

Hi Carmel thank you for your thorough testing (I've come to expect from you 😊) of these 2 products. I haven't tried the Maybelline yet but am intrigued by the olive shades available as all previous tests I've seen have leant towards a pink toned finish (of which I'm not a fan 😬). I think I would be tempted to try this as I like a light product but prefer the coverage of the Maybelline over the L'Oreal. Having tried the L'Oreal I wasn't a fan of the oxidisation, the amount needed or the messiness, but did enjoy the serum feel of the product. Much love as always! Xx❤

Your tip about getting a lighter concealer is right- I’ve around six concealers and I remember the one I liked best was a lighter one - I can’t get it any more. But I also have quite prominent eye bags (forget fat pads- mine resemble shoulder bags!) any advice for these? I also have a lot of wrinkles under my eyes as a result of trying to wear contact lenses years ago.
Hi Ruth ☺️ Oh I understand, under eyes can be so frustrating! I think your best bet is to start with a firming, plumping serum. Just make sure it’s a serum (not a cream) as they contain the active ingredients which will firm & hydrate! Then make sure you use powder to set, this will reduce the look of the bags because you’re taking away the reflection of the hollow. I’m actually in the process of testing out about 15 drugstore concealers 🙈 I’m hoping the video will be complete in a couple of weeks, so that might be helpful when choosing a new concealer? I can come back here & let you know when I’ve published it! ☺️💕
