This was a fantastic opportunity to have a walk-through of another Jeanneau Merry Fisher (NC in the US) 895 Offshore.
It was delivered in Summer 2022 and the owner, John Penson, waited over a year for delivery as a result of the dreaded pandemic years and the subsequent supply chain problems!!
Enjoy our walk-through this 2022 boat together with some of the amazing extras that John specified for the build of his 895 Offshore.

Thanks so much for posting this very full and informative walkthrough. I have watched lots of vids on this particular series of boats, ( Can't make my mind up which one to actually buy .... ) , but the wealth of equipment specified by the owner and shown by you, surpasses anything already out there. As a fellow seafarer ( Now retired.) , I very much appreciate the owner's attention to detail.

Fantastic improvements to the 895! I admire the owners knowledge and creative solutions. I will for sure make some of these changes on my own 895. I do wonder if the small shadow on the solar panel from the back rail impact the efficiency of charging. I plan to do the same installation myself.

Thank you both for this walk-through. It gives me ideas for when I next speak to my broker. My 2023 MF895 Offshore is due around Easter '23. And I will certainly be looking for a Flexiteek tabletop and pilot/co-pilot floor.

Lovely boat. If mine i would remove the carpets in the cockpit as my kids would be dropping hotdogs covered in ketchup in no time at all!

John’s laminated cards are great!! I wondered if he would send us some templates of the ones he has along the plinth above the helm, next to the radio and his checklist…for our MF895Offshore….I’d be very willing to pay or make a donation to RNLI or something? Would also love to know where his cutlery tray came from and how he got the wine rack fitting out of the drawer!?
