Nice tour !! It felt like You were just showing a friend how Your boat works instead of all those flowery repetitive words used by other boat tour people.
Very detailed and thorough walk through. Based on this review and a sea trial, I decided to upgrade from my 795 to a 2022 895 sports with dual Yamaha 200 OBs and Helm Master EX. Placed order last week thanks to the wonderful folks at Sundance Seattle. Now the long wait starts ... :)
Nice walkaround. Starboard is like a center console but you have a pilothouse for us northern guys that need shelter early late in the fishing season..
Wonder if you can work directly with the factor to install your electronics and solar system while boat is being built. Doing all of that after the fact is a pain in the butt.
Really nice review. Why is the Weekender rated for 2 x 200 max and this one you can get the 250's? The weekender is the heaviest of the two... Doesn't make sense to me.
Very good review! Great boats but darn they are thirsty… consumes slightly more than my 27.2 targa with twin 300 outboards. The Axopar 37 is significantly less fuel consuming.
Fantastic! One of the most comprehensive boat reviews I've seen! Would love to see the same in-depth review and contrast with the very new NC 895 Sport "SERIES 2", sometime soon!
Just got my NC 895 sport with twin 200 hp Yamaha.. Best Video so far. My numbers Top speed 41 mph . At 4000 rpm 26 mph with 1.4 -1.6 gph Electric connection to shore power is odd. Appears to be 32 amp ? Connection is a 125 volt 50 amp on boat? Jeanneau needs to explain. I got the fix after running around but still waiting on explanation from dealer
I agree, if you're in Texas you'd want A/C. Our market is Oregon and Washington where most of the year you'd want a diesel furnace more than air conditioning.
Thank you again for the compliment on the review! We have some 895 Sports on order for late 2021 or early 2022 delivery (sold out until then). One of these orders could be modified for Mercs and we can install a joystick before delivery. We would need a deposit on a boat to modify the order 😁
Great video! I was considering the Antares 9 until I saw your video. Love the bow seating. Any idea on how it handles in rough water? Thank you for opening up every access panel. So important to know there is access to everything in any bind you might find yourself in.
Based on our testing looks like the best high speed cruise (on plane) is right around 28 mph. If you want to save even more fuel you can slow the boat down (off plane) but we didn't take fuel economy measurements at those lower speeds since most people will cruise this boat in the 20s or 30s.
Excellent boat. Like the door on the small sleep area. One of the things that would hold me back from getting it would be that the AFT seat was not reversible and that it also seems like quite a bit of fuss too disengage it and slide it forward so you can tilt your engines out. Too much spending over way down to the floor.
