One of the best sermons on this topic! The world needs to hear this! Have shared with over twenty people and counting! Thank you for sharing this with the world!

As an Ex Mormon Christian I really loved this sermon. It is so important to tell LDS people that Christianity is different from Mormonism in key key ways. I didn't understand that when I was Mormon. Now that I do I see how uninformed I was. Christians need to stop saying that Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Catholics and a few other works based religions are Christian. They are not. They have different ideas of who Jesus is and His role in salvation.

You are so right on this I'm so glad you took so much from this message as did I at the end of the day you will never be like Jesus no matter how hard we strive to be like Jesus we can only trust and let him work through US each and every day I so badly wish my LDS friends would understand this key to life that they do not have to work for their salvation it is already done for them

I like to say the work that Jesus began on me was finished in the cross of Calvary! It's beautiful to know how loved we are!

I thought that was a really unique gospel presentation starting at 34:30 “ If you will confess it, If you will involve the Holy Spirit, if you will go to … celebrate recovery(?!)” I think a better representation would be to repent of your sins and believe. The sinner doesn’t have the Holy Spirit to “involve” until they receive salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14)

Chad great message. We to have good friends that are LDS. I don’t choose not to be friends nor do they because of our separate understandings of faith. Love is the greatest gift. We just try and love one another. We appreciate that as you said we need to be respectful of other and there believes. I pray myself that I never choose to get to know or have a relationship with someone based on there faith. In our motorcycle group we have a patch that says Come as you are. We believe that. Thank you again for bringing this forward.

I wish you could be friends though too. It takes so little to be kind. I say that as someone that was a non denominational Christian and joined the Mormon church in my teen and am going through my own faith crisis out. I promise it does NO ONE favors when they don’t interact with each other. Your example could change their lives. To me it reeks of self righteous on both sides. Period.

Chad, I think you're conflating the subtitle of The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ with this term "another gospel of Jesus Christ". I'd also be interested to know where in that book True to the Faith it repeatedly says "another gospel"? Skimming through my copy last night and I never saw that anywhere. It is a topical reference book. Would you please let me know which pages you're referencing when you say this?

I think that was a complete fabrication on his part. Completely dishonest. Never at any time has the LDS church claim to be anything but the restored gospel. Not “another gospel.“ His entire argument hinges on him lying about seeing this advertisement in Texas

No LDS commercial EVER said "another gospel of Jesus Christ." It said "another TESTAMENT of Jesus Christ"

Doesn’t change the fact that LDS aren’t Christians of followers of Christ.

I ask you not to remove my comments unless you fear others may disbelieve you by hearing my words. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for more than 40 years and wow, can I just say it is offensive to have someone claim to be a "True Christian" and spend almost 40min preaching falsehoods about what you believe. You interpret my faith through such a limited understanding and yet claim to be an authority on my beliefs. In 48 years I have never heard someone of my faith preach against any other faith in this way. I assume you feel threatened living in such a large concentration of "LDS". Your understanding of Jesus as the Christ is not the same as what I believe, Jesus Christ would take what you know and then helped you to know more of him in love, he would call to you to follow him, because he is THE example as he put it, "the way the truth and the life". You mock what you do not understand because you believe you are wise. "O the vainness, and the frailties, and the foolishness of men. When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves, wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness and it profited them not." Quoted from the Book of Mormon another testament of Jesus Christ.

I was there for this sermon on Saturday. Chad Moore misrepresents views of the Latter-Day Saints and spends the sermon attacking a strawman. A strawman he sets up by reciting an old analogy used in some circles that I and many others never liked anyway. And of course he didn’t even present the analogy correctly. He wasn’t honest, he wasn’t fair or understanding. He resembled a wolf in sheep’s clothing more than anything resembling a follower of Jesus Christ. He misinformed his congregation about their LDS neighbors. I’m disappointed with this pastor.
