A smith showed me a punh handle that curved to the side of the hand holding it. This allowed him to see the punch as it cut so he could more easily follow a line.
Yours are the first chisel handles I’ve seen like these. Most smiths use special tongs. I do think a detent makes sense, or a flat side at least, to maximize holding surface of the screws. Nice project!

I was thinking you must be fitter than you were last time lol, the point where you started working is where I break out the 7lb hand hammer..... I really like your way of doing handles, may I borrow it?
