Lmao 😂 the call sounded so good!! Glad it worked! I had a lot of fun recording it. I think we all feel lost and maybe some people are better at hiding it than others. And I think we all secretly wish someone is going to connect with us and lift us up out of that loneliness. And I also think we also get attached to thinking that it has to be this particular person or that particular person, but in reality it can be someone you least expect if you let them.
I really wanted to use every take! But alas I had to make a choice lol. Bravo to you, Marie. I share the sentiment you have here about hiding and hoping to be found. Everyone can hide in their own way. I feel like it’s a very universal experience, something the movie captures so elegantly.
Lol I love the takes you picked!! 😂😂😂 has me cracking up! It’s really interesting because leaving jobs kinda the same thing like you all have this bond and you know you prob won’t see each other again but it’s a nice feeling you had the time together when you did. It’s that bittersweet quality of life
Lol yeah, Marie did a great job 👏 I agree though. It’s one of those things that is temporary but you maybe don’t realize it until it’s time to move on.
Funny that I've watched this movie back to back to back with CLOSER (starring Natalie Portman) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind▪︎and I was also in college at that time like ten years ago or so. And I was as lost as the characters in these movies. So I just combine the storylines of these three movies in my head because they sort of dealt with the same topics.
This is such a coincidence for me... Today I saw the movie "lost in translation" and I'm seeing this video on the same day, as if I'm meant to see this video..😁. Anyways, you theory about the movie is good to hear and very much glad to see your upcoming
that shot of Charlotte's rear end in the beginning is based on paintings by John Kacere. Come to think of it, showing us her "end" in the beginning, might mean something... why is our bottom in our middle???
