Good sir ! Here we go I feel obligated to tell you this is one of my fav episodes I’ve ever watched , being honest your delivery sir isn’t usually best suited for my ear but I have subscribed and watched many of your videos because I do respect greatly the knowledge and the improvement drive that you do have for this hobby that I dearly love . But this video was really unique and highlights in my opinion a great lighter side of you and no one else is rly diving into the “common” maker side and showing what a-lot of “closet” 3 d printer wonders may exist like Nikolai’s amazing machine ! Hope to see many more of these ‼️👍

They are called magballs. I got mine from Filastruder: www.filastruder.com/collections/electronics/products/12-magballs-6-360mm-arms-for-delta-smarteffector I also made up my own low-profile version that basically reverses the design, giving you another 10mm; however, I haven't fitted them yet. Several Thingiverse examples of it. Basically, you get concave magnets and screw/glue them into the effector. For the rods, you screw in the ball sockets - like the ones in the Megball kit above.
Have you heard? The President if Homers TEVO and some other company employees were arrested for stealing from their latest investor. They would take an order, not ship it, ask the investor for the money to refund the customer and then pocket the money and claim they refunded. It's a sad story. Right now that investor is running the company.
Considering that I can't call a group of 3D printer hobbyists a community without invoking an association to that unnamed company and all the other marketing tendrils they have laid across the internet (eg. calling a Mendel printer an "I3 style printer") you can't blame me and insinuate that it's some sort of mental failing on my part when I lament this inability to use the correct language for fear of providing free publicity to the unnamed.
