Emo Gohan should get help from the Devilartemis Universe. Where Cell, Kermit, Shallot, Master Roshi, and Ugandan Knuckles teach him in Da Wae. It would be poetic as Ugandan Knuckles sacrifice himself while Master Roshi teaches him about the Coochie war. Cell and Kermit doing random stuff, Shallot in his shark costume. And worse Zarbon in the end credit finishing El Hermano
It makes sense why Gohan Black was so disgusted with Emo Gohan's Chi-Chi now... It tarnishes the memory of the mother that he once had. Emo basically gets to have a mom, but he's taking it for granted...
So let me get this straight: After GB (Gohan Black) lost his universe's Goku (who actually looked like a competent father), Chi-Chi became a distraught mute. Being the only family he had left, GB tried to spend time trying to help his mother cope and spend time with her. Then on the day he decided to take her to the park, El Hermano came and tried attacking him to evaluate his worth as a Gohan. However, not having fought in this universe (assuming it was because this Goku didn't try to get him into the lifestyle or straight up abandoned it to be with his family), he was extremely outmatched and didn't even bother to fight back. Then, before El Hermano could kill him, Chi-Chi finally got up for the first and last time since Goku died and protected her son, getting fatally wounded in the process. After seeing this in front of him, and having lost all the family he had, GB, like any other kid would, started crying out in sadness and pain, which, according to El Hermano, was such a disgusting sign of weakness, angrily decided to erase GB's universe, but GB himself was saved by Zamazu before he could be erased himself. Once at the Land of the Kais, and figuring out he was gonna cease to exist, GB simply accepted this with a smile, not wantng a lonely existence without the people he loved. Because of this, Zamazu realized what Whis meant by "Not all mortals are blights", thanked Gohan for showing him this, and then decided to save him by merging with him as a thanks. After this, Zamasu informs GB of "Multiverse Theory" Assuming that GB used this knowledge to visit several Chi-Chis to fill the void in his heart after losing his, developing a twisted vision on what a Chi-Chi should be after all the others were the perfect examples, and seeing Emo's Chi-Chi being a slutty thot and considering that a mockery on what a Chi-Chi should be, GB decided to "reform and train" Emo's Chi-Chi to match how he feels a Chi-Chi should be like? This.... Is honestly some of the best writing I've seen from a DB fan series. GB was TOTALLY the villian in his arc, but he didn't deserve what happened to him. Thank you for this, Daito. Can't wait to see more.
Something I just happened to notice when watching this again is that when El Hermano is about to use a beam from his finger to kill Gohan Black, it looks quite similar to how Gohan Black was about to use a beam from his finger to lobotomize Chi-Chi.
Ooook .. The first part is pretty much the same beginning as "Up", it tells you so much without a word. I love this fucking storytelling, this is where you see the true ability to tell something. I didn't expect Goku to die from heart attack, like in the Future Trunks universe. Rather, I thought El Hermano was going to kill Goku, AND THEN Chi-Chi. The death of the mother is of great impact, I did not expect this use of blood (considering the current canons of RU-vid). From the little that has been seen of El Hermano, he is obsessed with the figure of Gohan, in general, like a perverse fan. (ok, "fan" is probably not the right term). Overall, I loved this OAV. It's not good as the season finale of Gohanverse 1 (that's still your best, fucking spectacular video) but this one also deserves to be seen. Gohanverse is definitely the coolest project there is. Yes, even more than DB Deliverance. Thank you for this stuff, it encourages me to propose better quality. You raised the bar, man. PS: 2:27 oh, poor family

I can see why db deliverence isn't as good as this, mostly with the voice acting when their mic peaks every fucking time. But with this there is direction and no god damn peaking.
Seeing Zamasu, of all people, show empathy for *ANY* mortal, especially a *SAIYAN* was a new one for me. And yeah, I agree. Hermano certainly embodies all of the toxic Gohan fans out there. I like seeing Gohan be badass too, but even I draw the line at what Hermano's doing.
Zamasu: Don't be foolish human. You're going to cease to exist, why would you be ok with that? Gohan: I guess it's because it's too lonely to live without my family. 🥺
Man, this really cuts deep, well done! Also can we take a moment to think about how no matter what the case is, gohan gets help from a green character who used to be a villain in some shape or form
I love how you gave Zamasu such depth and character in this! He’s always belonged to a sort of grey area since he believes his ideology serves a just cause while still not being inherently evil and this OVA really captured that perfectly. So thanks for giving my favourite Dragon Ball “villain” a true chance to shine and show more compassion and restored faith towards mortals! Will definitely look forward to more from this channel as i always have!
This shows a side of Zamasu that is actually interesting, it asked the question “what would happened if Zamasu saw only the youth and not the adults?” Would things be different? Would it change our corrupted Kai? Who knows but this is truly amazing to watch. Thank you Daitomachi for making this
The strange mix between parody and legitimate emotional storytelling is incredibly fascinating. Even El Hermano feels like an actual anime villain. A warrior obsessed with a rival so much the he travels to other universes to push alternate universe versions of the same rival to their limits. This definitely feels like a legitimate DBZ villain motive. It feels like El Hermano had a rivalry with his universes Gohan, but after killing him has been left hungry for a worthy challenger.
Honestly, seeing who El Hermano is characterized as, he's honestly more human than we think. He's literally the Embodiment of Gohan's fanbase, who simply start jerking to Gohans like SSJ2 Teen Gohan, Buu Saga Ultimate Gohan, etc. He and Gohan's fanbase would hate a Gohan who's simply normal, like Universe 10 Gohan/Gohan Black.
This is amazing... Extremely deep story, emotional. An innocent boy corrupted by power and loneliness who can see mortality through the eyes of an orphaned child and an all seeing god. All chi chi's are his... Please don't stop.
El Hermano kinda just represents the entire Dragon Ball fanbase. "A Gohan who doesn't fight doesn't deserve to live." Oh come on, why are you booing, I'm right! (Edit: Holy shit this got popular.)
Yeah I don't enjoy seeing people like that. Sometimes ya know I don't wanna see a gohan running around doing ginyu poses cause he got pstsd and was 5 years old on namek.
It is weird hearing El Hermano speaking in English. In the Devilartemis Universe, he was speaking in Spanish while facing off against Cell and Ugandan Knuckles. El Hermano *Spanish intensifies * Pikajuan *Latino intensifies * Cell and Kermit *Drug intensifies* Ugandan Knuckles *CLICK* YOU DO NOT KNOW DE WAE MAH BRUUTA!!! Zarbon *Zarbon Moan* Master Roshi *Remember the Coochie War with Jesus * Popo *POPO*
“You had it all! A mother, a father, a universe to call home! I don’t have any of that! An alcoholic pimp like you, wouldn’t understand the hell that I’ve been through!” -Gohan Black. This is excellent, by the way. I loved every second of it, this is leading into something beautiful
I love that in the first bit it shows goku slowly dying which has a much better impact than him dying immediately. This was really amazing and made me actually feel sorry for black and understand why he is the way he is.
But technically it was both goku and trunks who pushed zamasu and it wasn’t the goku we saw. My guess is that the zamasu we saw wasn’t the zamasu from the main timeline but a different timeline one like the main but where he killed goazu ,ranked himself supreme kie, took the time rings, and travelled to trunks future.
@@krs1297 dragonball have a lot of villains turned good. zamasu was the first good turned evil, but sadly never turned good again. goku tried that shit with moro but not zamasu
I love comedy series' with heartfelt back stories, it just proves that we should laugh and smile through hard times and sadness... Or something cheesy like that.

I almost cried when Goku died and when Chichi died my whole body shaking with chills and sadness. This is a beautiful and spectacular video with the storytelling, animation and the feeling of sadness on the video. I hope this video gets the recognition it deserves.
Goku died because of his heart attack or even a heart disease and Chichi died too because she sacrificed herself by saving gohan from El Hermano's ki blast
So here my theory and explanation for anyone who didn’t get much: Basically there are universes with different outcomes and what ifs, and it seems that in universe 10, Goku never followed the path of a fighter, he never learned about his saiyan blood, or maybe he was a normal human, so Gohan was never born into fighting, never born knowing of his saiyan lineage, never training to become strong, just lived a normal life... So am I right? (Edit: if this sounds too retarded for some more serious fans it’s because that’s just how I roll 😎) (Edit 2: this questionable plot was clearly just made to add amusement to daitomodachis’ universe, so anything could’ve happened, it’s not all based on actual canon and db logic)
The one similarly with the main timeline is Goku still getting the heart virus. Pretty solid theory, though interested to know how vegeta is still around......and Shallot 😂
I think it's Goku never continued Fighting after Freeza. Which just created a butterfly effect like ripple causing the Andriods to never surface. Freeza to never return. Goku made peace with his need to fight and started to be their with his family.
Dai, you're a damn genius. You made Zamasu a relatable character, you made my heart hurt so much more in one OVA than any DB arc ever attempted, and you're weaving your own universe without making it seem forced.
Damn that was the most heart filled wholesome thing I have watch in a long time. I appreciate you Daitomodachi been having a shitty week lost a lot. This...this made me happy.
Gohan Black: what happened to me? What happened to my hair?? Why do I sound British??? Evil Zamasu: why?!? Every time I switch bodies with someone I always sound British. Me: Well u make pure tea remember.
Good job dai this video almost made me cry. I was actually trying so hard not to cry I almost gave in but I handled it like a man. If a ova does a good job with being emotional it does a pretty damn good job! Good job dai I’m looking forward for more gohanverse!
I just realized that this gohan literally lost everything. First his family, then the universe he lives in, then his original body. Gohan black deserves his old family back. He's gone through too much. Edit: or at least a new family. Just something. Anything at all. ( also I hope he gets his revenge in the near future)
This explains a lot of why he was the way he was in Gohanverse Main Story. The fact that he saw someone that seemed to be mocking his mother's image... it must have felt like a personal insult
If the Super Dragon Balls exist, then there may be a way to bring up Universe 10 and his family in 1 go since regular dragon balls cannot bring back this Chi Chi (died a long time ago) or Goku (died to a natural death).
All the voices, writing, animation... every bit of it was AWESOME and heartfelt. I'm sure I'm not the only who cried and got chills during this. Incredible.
I love how whis was councelling zamasu in the beginning like a teacher helping a student This was the universe where cell just didnt happen and they're just basically waiting for buu
So... Coming back to this almost a year later, anyone else notice that after Chci-Chi is killed there's music until Zamasu brings Gohan to the realm of the kais when that wasn't there before? I dunno man, I just remember an actual bit of dialogue and looking through the comments it seems my memory hasn't failed me this time
Dude this is so emotional and beautiful! I love how everything just comes together and makes sense! And making El Hermano relevant again is just icing on the cake!
Amazing work, although I was expecting a spanish accent from Hermano but doesn't matter. Zamasu actually getting mortals and I kinda hear Legendosaur getting emotional at the end. This made me get why Zamasu hated mortals in the first place and finally understanding that there are good ones and there are bad ones.
The voices were on point, Amazingly emotional story that makes me sympathize with Gohan Black, a great way to introduce El Hermano, And makes me want Black to be the main character more than Emo for that arc so badly! Just amazing over all
SPOILERS. First, kishinpain said things beautifully. Second, wow. I liked Gohan Black a lot, but damn do I wish he get a happy ending. He deserves it, after all that he has went through here. Last, his special makes me want Gohan Black to play a good part in defeating El Hermano in the future. It will be awesome to see Emo and Gohan Black team up, along with the other Gohans to stop him. Cue the TFS Piccolo, Nail, and Kami jokes with Zamasu and this Gohan.
Great backstory now I'm curious about how black is going to progress further knowing that its Gohan and Zamasu cause if its both of them there are alot of things that could happen
what an awesome backstory, making zamasu see the good in mortals was of course a great idea, and it explains why that gohan becomes gohan black, and even the why he's so obsessed with finding the perfect chichi, he probably became crazy craving that desire and well, gets to what he is in Gohanverse (even though that's just suppositions)
I was prepared to feel a pistol shot through the heart.... this was someone unloading a assault rifle on the heart... 5 times in a row.... god the feels
My guy I've been watching your channel for a while and you've struck gold and you've got me invested in a story that can even make El Hermano seem like a legit character
So the first Gohanverse episodes were passionate but awkward. Still enjoyable to watch. THIS was an achievement! The quality, writing, and pacing has grown in bounds and leaps, and I can say confidently now I am looking forward to everything the Gohanverse has to offer. Amazing work man!
Oh my god this hit me so hard as a fan of Gohan for so many years it really help me to understand that I answered a question that I always wondered what would happen if gohan never trained and became a smart individual like his mother always wanted but the villains came after him because he was Goku son? This was so well done and I am just blessed that this came out when I needed that calming down.
Thanks dai the plot and story was great and your staff did a good job keep up the good work this is truly very interesting I'll be waiting for the next great epic clip :D
I really like the ending. Both Gohan and Zamasu still exist in one body, and can interact with one another. That's a really interesting way of doing fusion.
This episode in a nutshell What Gohan deserved: NON.OF.F***ING.THAT I am really excited for the future of your animations As long as you yourself are able to rest and enjoy what you are making. I'm gonna cry now
Outside of the great storytelling, my favorite (though maybe odd) part about this is after Zamasu merged with Gohan, he sounded like a ship's onboard computer. And, to me, it actually works.
this is amazing, i love it! Everything about it is such a delight. I love how you guys painted this beautiful picture of Goku actually being more .. human spending time with his family like a normal dad very realistic than his anime portrayal. When he died i could feel the impact it took on Chichi and Gohan..it was heartbreaking yet beautiful to see. I also like Zamasu way better here it really makes you think if he just would've met the right person, black Goku probably never exist! Another thing I love is Gohan's personality much like the dbz before cell, it's great you guys making Gohon cool and lovable again, amazing job to you all! ♥
Who would of thought that the story of a chain-smoking Gohan would lead to this? The emotion, the passion, the heart. I can't wait to see where the Gohanverse takes us next!
