It never crossed my mind that she was an actual traitor ... the fact that she hates the El Blanco form is perhaps because she associates it with the Council.. or with the trauma of Trunks' death. ps: The detail of Gohana's face in the puddle of blood.. I have a theory that Gohana is kind of a anti villain because she still has PTSD from the death of Trunks. In better terms, she's a double agent for the Gohan Council, begrudgingly of course, but that all changes when she met Black. A Gohan who lost everything, and that's why she see him as a little brother figure. After what happened, she still has potential for a unique character study who we like to see have more development. All of this is my personal opinion, of course and all.

Looks like the pimp gohan managed to become a council member between season 1 and the ova. Also judging from the fact that gohana called the council a “ golf club” and that pimp gohan only joined after becoming super rich it looks like most gohan council members only managed to gain their positions through their wealth and connections. If I had to guess absalon and the grand priest are the only ones who really care about their jobs. This makes gohana’s hatred for the council a bit more understandable. I do wonder if we will ever see the whole gohan council this ova really added a lot of interesting lore.

Let me get this straight: Gohana is Female *Future* Gohan, she hates every Gohan equally that isn't Gohan Black, her El Blanco/Beast form reminds her of Trunks' death to the point where she hates her own ultimate power, can use the power she hates to weaponize Lightning, AND turned traitor on the Gohan Council?! At least I can say Gohan A was hiding in plain sight.

Given the fierce look and her performing the Wolf Fang technique in the trailer, I'd say the canon name "Beast form" pretty much checks out

Talk about being faithful to Hit's character. He had an opportunity to kill the pimp, but instead destroyed his phone. He wanted to wait until his duel was over to finish the job. Definitely something Hit would do.

Same person who asked the question about techniques in the pre-livestream. Love the clever use of the superform lightning and Gohana being smart enough to actually weaponize it, adding an extra layer of defense and an automatic counter attack.

She reached El Blanco as well and might have been a student of Yamcha! Im definitely excited to see who bests who!! I hope there is a Gohan who trained under Tien that could be this Gohan's rival!!

I absolutely love the fact that as a Gohan she was able to combine her intellect and fighting ability. This is something I've wanted Gohan prime to do. It vindicated me here that mind+fight=new power. Good on you Dai and Gohana!

I have SO MANY QUESTIONS, but in short: Well done- simultaneously answered a few questions I had, created a buncha new ones, and got very creative with how the powerset works.

This was pretty dope. Very nicely done, I even love how Gohana utilized actually traits from her form and weaponize them. Also, with the ending there... I freaking KNEW it. Based on the fact she's the only female Gohan we've seen in this series yet, the body of the newest Saint Beast Gohan member, and Gohan Council tech, I figured maybe she was the traitor. Even if it didn't look like it at first, she was the only one with a growing motive to turn against them. However, I wonder how is it the Gohan Council betrayed HER. Especially since she is willingly fighting her apprentice Gohan Black.

Wow, this OVA was beautifully crafted! I especially love the colors and shading immersed within this video. Also, a funny thing for some odd reason when I heard Gohana say Lightning Wolf Fang Fist I mistakenly heard “fan fic” Yea, glad to know I was wrong. Side note tho both Gohana and Piccolo are betraying their students in Season 2. Just to turn Absalon’s quote sour, “People can all change-“ (for better or for worst…) This OVA added a lot of depth to Gohana’s character. Her actively betraying the Gohan council and working with El Hermano really goes to show that whatever the Gohan council did to betray her has left a significant impact on her. The moment she was confirmed as Gohan A, a question I asked myself was “when did Gohana start betraying the gohan council and was she already planning to betray them when she met with Black”? The first time we see this Gohan A was wayyy back in the Android 21 movie. Three months before Emos fight with Black. During this time, Gohan A was looking for the dragon balls. I have no clue when she got recruited but she definitely was part of the Gohan Council during the El Calvo Rebellion. Now this makes me wonder if she joined the gohan council and then the incident with Trunks occurred or this tragedy lead her right to them. Either or I think the grudge that Absalon referenced to might be eluding to the betrayal Gohana mentioned about at the end. My question now is how long has she been working with El Hermano’s team? Best guess is- ever since the tragedy she has been looking for a way to get back at them and went to ally with their enemy out of spite. Another interesting thing to note is the possibility that the majority of the Gohan council are composed of Gohan’s who are more in it for the making bank while the minority actual cares about their job. Judging from the stigma Gohana has towards them, gives me the impression that most of the Gohan Council treats everything like a joke. Though, there are some instances like the El Hermano vs Absalon fight where there were those Gohan’s who actually went and tried to accomplish their job. Hell, Absalon out of the whole Gohan Council seems to be the only one who takes these violations seriously, minus that one time with Emo and Black. Absalon probably let that one slip because he hated the Emo and found Black’s reasoning sound.What I like to think is when El Hermano was around the Gohan Council they put more effort in their job then when Absalon sealed El Hermano away, they became lax in their ways. However, the GP keeps reminding Absalon about the fact El Hermano will come back. With this constant reminder, I think Absalon finds ways to cope, he’s obviously hella stressed out. Maybe, that’s way he plays his video games as a stress reliever or watches Gura’s Livestream. This in turn probably affected the Gohan Council as they looked more ways to entertain themselves rather than focus on the problem at hand. Side note I made a timeline of the events that took place in the Gohanverse thus far- starting from History of Black because this is the oldest (besides the flash back in the Absalon vs El Hermano where the GP was friends with El Hermano) the events which occurred when Black was born is had passed 6 months. Here is our first indicator of time- Zamasu- “six long months I have been studying these Barbarians.” This was the day where El Hermano came into Black’s world and destroyed it. Zamasu rescued black and they merged to form Gohan Black. From then at the end it has been indicated a year has passed since then when Emo is fighting Black. So, precisely from what Daitomodachi has shown us had taken place in a span of a year and half in the current timeline. Here is my idea of how events before Emo vs Black played out- Gohan black begins visiting chi-chi’s from other universes Absalon fights El Hermano and seals him in the Dead Zone (by this time Hermano has gathered his own faction) Slick Goku is confirmed to be guarding the El Blanco elixir The Gohan Beasts plan to free El Hermano Gohana joins the Beasts in the quest of looking for the multidimensional DB. (9 months have passed since Gohan Black was created) Since this was three months before Emo’s duel with Black- before a year has passed since his creation. Black meets Gohana and then in turn meets Absalon plus the Gohan council (by this time she has unlocked El Blanco) El Calvo’s rebellion happens this is when Black is introduced to El Blanco. More than likely the users of El Blanco were called to help with the threat. He more than likely saw Absalon and Gohana in their El Blanco forms. Other Gohan’s such as Slick Gohan may also be apparent. Grand Priest more than likely was watching the battle. Gohan Black discovers his Rose blade. (I say this because he mentions back in episode 10, “it helped me during the El calvo rebellion” signifying it might have been his first time using it. And since we know Gohana is Gohan A she was there during the El Calvo rebellion. Zamasu goes into slumber Training with Black happens when he is testing out his blade against Gohana (during this time it is confirmed Trunks is dead) Black travels to Emo’s world. Somehow Absalon knows he is violating a gohan accord by interfering with another gohan. (He had no clue it was Emo) Emo vs Gohan Black happens Slick gets a restraining order on the pink Buu chick (Android 21) (Year is complete) 1 day passes Black is in the Gohan Council specialized prison cell Gohana has her talk with Absalon 3 days pass Emo plays smash bros with his mom GP is alerted about Emo’s capability to master the true El Blanco 1 week pass The GP visits Emo Android 21 arrives and fights Slick Goku and Emo Slick Gokhan is formed Android 21 destroyed GP recruits Emo Absalon helps Slick Baby receives news about Android 21s death All Dragon balls are collected 1 day passes Emo finishes Training with GP Black comes back from finishing his community service (probably 1 week and 3 days he was in there) Baby gives El Hermano the news and decides to erase all Gohan’s Gohanic goes to fight Emo Gohanic dies El Hermano informs the others about baby’s plan It is revealed El Hermano is the student of the GP and lost the right to call him master years ago Absalon is forced to put together a four squad team GP heads to the headquarters of the Gohan Council Absalon and Emo recruit Black plus Piccolo Baby gives new mission to Gohan A (around the time she was killing the pimp Gohan and fought hit) Absalons group in cell lands They encounter Gohan A Gohan A vs Black continues Keep in mind This timeline is entirely based upon Black’s existence and his role in the story thus far and might not be accurate - I feel like if we know Gohana’s backstory it would help give a clear direction as to the timeline of events. The more backstories we get; The more we can piece together the timeline before the events of Emo vs Black. In season 3, we would be getting a Ova based off the Grand Priest and El Hermano, this might help fill in the missing gaps in the story which demand an explanation. I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH IT LEGIT HAS SO MUCH LORE AND IM JUST DYING TO KNOW MORE!

Big fan of this episode, the choreography has a lot of weight put into it. Really immersive stuff!

Great animation as always. Love how the story just intertwines with everything that's come before and sets up just enough to keep everyone interested, but not overwhelmed with too much info. I think I really love how the power scales being locked to the generic ssj transformations aren't a thing in your series, because this really does allow for more freedom in how you portray skill sets and different powers / techniques being used. Examples being: kamehameha kick, Spiked blanco, LITERAL STAND POWERS BEING CANNON, and now lightning wolf fang fist that utilizes the electricity that is generated passively through the from the transformation itself thus not needing to expend extra energy into the attack unless needed! That's great writing right there. Great job on really trying to flesh out the whole "the multiverse is literally just a place where anyone and anything can happen and you just need to buckle up and deal with it" idea. I think this basically sums up the thought process, but if there is a better description please feel free to correct me. Because this really does just let you explain powers and power scaling in a REALLY interesting way and I'm here for it! also really cool fight scenes and sequences.

Well. Daitomodachi has yet again blessed us with another mind blowing masterpiece. Fun fact. Ever since I saw the extended version of episode 7, I had a feeling Gohana was work I with the Saint Gohan Beasts. With Gohan A (the new recruit) having a woman body type instead of the normal gohan body type. And the fact that Gohan A said "I gotta bone to pick with you" to Emo just sold it for me that it WAS Gohana. Also, whoever voiced Hit was amazing. Bravo my guy. Can't wait to see more. Til then, see yah around.

Weaponizing the eletricity of the Ssj forms and El Blanco is a awsome idea. Gohana turned something that is only there for effects into something she could use to her advantage in combat.

Great job dai! because I had nothing to say on episode 6 TBH because it’s a two parter. But it’s a good OVA the fight scenes are good. The animation is on point. I’d like to know the backstory behind Yamaha as her master beacause that’s interesting. And it was interesting to see the ending to tie into the next episode in August. All round interesting episode.

Hit maintains his place as my favorite character in DBS, no matter the Fandom Universe he's in. Great work, Daito, and to the amazing voice actors!

Hey, I just wanted to say, not to through even more to the fire, but if you thought you deserved a check from Toei because of Blanco being canon, the transformation is called Gohan Beast, which makes me think of the Saint Gohan Beast. I think you really need that check.

The Lightning Wolf Fang Fist was a real good touch up. It's nice to see Yamcha's moves.

I love her character design, and how instead of wearing a gi like most Gohan’s she wears an outfit that’s similar to the one Goku wore during the 9 days before the Cell Games. But obviously different colors, and to make it more unique she has a 58 on it instead of a 59. The 58 is also in a different spot then Goku’s 59. Honestly this outfit design makes me wonder what happened to her Goku? Was this universe’s Goku female too? Did he or she die like Goku died in Future Trunks’ timeline? I noticed Trunks plays the role Future Gohan plays for him in his timeline.

Its kind of funny how a Gohan became the richest man alive and immediately his voice switched from standard adult Gohan to Boondocks character.

Theory: A Gohan Killed Trunks (Maybe one of the Gohan Council), Awakening her Blanco Form, She would then despise all Gohans but used the council as a way to get resources, technology and of course grow stronger, she took in Gohan Black because he understood her pain of such great loss and trained, Black Got Defeated by Emo, Not only is this a reason for her to target Emo but she's also Secretly working with Baby to get rid of the council. But she finds out Baby wants to kill all Gohans and now she's helping the group because she doesn't want herself or Black to be erased. Oh yeah, it's all coming together.

i think the reason why she doesn't like transforming is because the el blanco form is a gohan exclusive form and since the GOHAN counsel betrayed her, she doesn't like the form the betrayal made her want to join baby to destroy the counsel and bring back trunks who recently died i'm guessing by el hemano for standing in his way of killing gohana
