@@icecranberry2148 oh please. You act as if it was going to be some sort of secret and of course the press are going to ask him how he feels about what happened after so its best to let him know to prevent shock outbursts(from a Finn near impossible but still) due to surprise. Plus given Bottas and Ham were basically driving the same race with the same car it shows that they were both VERY unlucky to even get a puncture it was just Valterri's track position at the time of puncture that was the cherry on top for him.
All three from him sounded like he is not having fun time. I wouldn't be surprised if he started to pull Alonso type stuff and just drive to pit to retire at the end of the races or just quit mid season. He isn't the type of person who'd care for the records he might end up making if he continued to the end
Brad Sanchez His engineer told him to box and then stay out but it was too late and Kimi was already in the pit lane entry with no time to go back onto the track.
Alfa Romeo needs to get their act together, their strategists are starting to look like Ferarri’s clowns. At this point my favorite Italian team is Scuderia AlphaTauri. Gasly’s passionate personality is also a nice bonus.
@@MrHDPhoenix well the AWS tyre management thingy was saying something about 10% on front left, compared to 40% on the others. And if AWS has this data surely the crew has it too
He kept the composure and Bono kept the composure. Getting worried would've cost his concentration, which was needed at that point to control the broken car.
Петар Павловић Interesting contrast between Norris's immediate rejection of Scenario7 with a couple of laps to go, and Kimi's indecision over whether to pit (there was a long conversation leading up to the clip in this video). I think he didn't want to, but was cajoled into it by the engineer.
@@AndrewSmall963 norris is was a suggestion. If the team tell you to pit you normally should, especially if it's the safety car. Kimi also asked if the guy was sure or not
Tyres are dead: get in there lewis Tyres are good: get in there lewis Tyres are blown: get in there lewis They forgot to put on the tyres: get in there mate
LOL in fact whenever a Merc on the road hesitate or take too much time to merge into my lane, I m always like, get in there Lewis, get in there 🤣 It’s so freaking annoying LOL . Someone needs to slap that guy and bring him to his senses, so that he can start saying something else for a change.
From the team: Get in, box, box. Kimi: *literally does what they asked* From the team : *while Kimi is already on the way in the box* Stay out! Stay out! Of course, he's angry, like come on ... decide what you want already, you maniacs. XD
IDK what u saying but thats why ppl love Leclerk and hate Grosjean. Grosjean is slow, complains that he did 100% and cries over radio, Lecler is overachieving, thanks team for effort and still manages to beat himself for small fuckups.
clutchRup He held up quit well with his old mediums in his first stint, in Austria he dropped like a stone when he stayed out longer then everybody else. But for his strategy he needed another Safety Car because the midfield was so close.
@Yung Jxhno Why do you think so? Just because he said it himself doesn't mean he drove well. His driving was pretty garbage and was putting others at risk.
Sums up his luck, cost Sainz and Bottas 10 places and he still manages to win. Ofc he only had half a lap to go still , just shows how dominant that Mercedes is when that can happen yet still win somewhat comfortbly
Ferrari don't give a shit about him anymore and don't respect him. Honestly i used to be a ferrari supporter and seeing how he's treated make me sad. It just looks like the scuderia is blaming all their clear management problems and lack of structure inside the team on vettel at this point. Sure he is the second driver there and not italian but he proved multiple times that with a nice team working around him and a good car, he is capable of winning. Ferrari never tried to make it work with vettel anyways.
@@XxPsykosXS He doesnt respect them anymore either. Since his contract hasnt been expanded, hes been brutally honest in every interview because he doesnt have to fear consequences anymore.
dee whatsherface apparently the sad part is Stroll was right that there was no energy but the telemetry was fucked and sending Battery Full to the engineers.
The concentration and sheer will to win from Lewis Hamilton when his Tyre suddenly exploded was simply brilliant. Slightly fortunate to win but his skill and mind are second to none on the track.

His over taking is much better than Albon's! I think Gasly should've stayed at Redbull. Although I think something at Redbull tests the confidence of the slightly weaker driver.
@@finx2much albon's overtaking was also really good in toro rosso. its quite funny how both went up to rb and suffered... maybe something's wrong with the rb management and putting immense pressure on their second drivers to be the next max. maybe just maybe, huh.
0:18 2 seasons later and how Seb has gone from joking about it and having fun to just telling his team about it. As someone once said "Look how they massacred my boy"
@@yashsarda6224 I mean, he is getting dropped by a team he loves, doesn't have a seat for the 2021 season yet even if he is a 4 time World champion and there is people far less deserving than him with a seat, for his last season he has a shit car, the car is not ready for FP1, FP2 he has something in the car that is misplaced and has the same problem in FP3, I know these guys need to be on a strong mindset but all this would get in anyone's head instantly, when he finished the race Ferrari was talking to him and he didn't say a word, such a shame seeing him like this when he usually is in a very good mood, as a Ferrari fan I loved his spirit and wish him the best.
rikidoni24 yeah brother, you are spot on with your analysis. Seb is someone who operates with that no fucks given attitude, like he was at redbull and ferrari. The whole multi 21 thing with webber showed that he was beyond caring about team orders and everything, all he wanted was to race and win. When someone like seb becomes all serious and doesn’t show passion, it means he has been defeated mentally, and the level at which these guys operate you have to have the mental strength of a lion.
4:22 love how his engineer keeps it a 100% relaxed to calm him down, and not only in that sequence but for the whole lap, great work tho although he must ve shit his pants as you can hear after he passes the flag
Yup, there's a whole 6 min video on the F1 website of the last lap, fully calm & composed, loads of setting changes whilst battling the car to make sure they make it, perfect blend of keep the car together & hold that gap to Max. Fully deserved just for that tbh, when luck falls your way you still gotta execute it, Props to Bono too
Honestly Bottas' engineers and the rest of Mercedes need to do this for him like they do for Hamilton. I'm certain he would improve and challenge Lewis more
Kimi, Kimi, Kimi! His were my favourite. For a man who mumbles his way through every conversation, to hear him shouting and swearing is something else.
Nobody: Albon:in the Toro Rosso/Alpha Tauri make looking Gasly weak in the Red Bull Gasly:in the Toro Rosso/Alpha Tauri make looking Albon weak in the Red Bull
Albon never made Gasly look weak in the red bull. He was way behind Verstappen but he was well clear of the torro rossos. However there is something seriously wrong with that red bulls' balance this year. You need to be Verstappen to MAXimize that beasts' potential. Now atleast we can all agree that anyone of the three would do a similar job in that red bull. Average at best
I loved how Bottas's engineer told Bottas "Lewis had a puncture, he managed to win still". Meanwhile Bottas's puncture cost him easy second place and pushed him outside of points. That "he managed to win still" part sounds like adding salt to the injury.
Man, those last 2 or 3 laps were crazy, the midfield was great the whole race though, I didnt expect 3 cars to get punctures so suddenly while watching the race
@@emankcin1701 Alonso did it all the time even when the team made no mistake. Kimi only does it when the team makes mistakes. He asked them if theyw ould pit half a long time befire they answered, and when he did pit one of the mechanics was just standing there and forgot to put on his left tyre.
He needs to retire man, no fun for him/or us seeing him painfully kick around at the back. Plenty of young talent could take that seat. Grosjean too, needs to go. 2 empty seats.
True but it shouldn’t be enough for someone to stay, his pace kinda went during his Ferrari days tbh, best no2 in years. Sure we get comedic moments but any driver staying longer than tf hey should hurts their core legacy, beyond memes that is
@@d.b.cooper1 Hes only doing it for fun, Id wanna do it for aslong as possible too, I mean like come on its f1, only 20 people in the whole world can do it. you really think Kimi gives a S*** about legacy? hes probably drunk right now on his yacht.
It is pain, finally could stand the pressure, sadly the tyres couldn't I don't get why everyone says that's been a boring race only because there s no second team in front, Bottas and Hamilton gave each other no room for mistakes, swapping fastest laps for like 30 laps in a row, gap always changing from 1.0 to 1.8 seconds, Hella exciting if u wanna see another winner
It's very amazing how Bono can be so calm when Verstappen is just stalking Lewis. I bet that both of them have their heartbeat goes a bit higher there.
I love how this engineer always ends up saying okay, like he doesn't want to mess up with Kimi. Last year, "How's the front wing?" "I don't know you'll have to tell me." "Okay." Now, "Stay out" "It's too late now, ffs" "It's okay Kimi."
Romain saying he " has nothing left " just goes to show that even inspite of bad cars , these guys will drive with their life and not just be defeated. Respect.
Funny how in this race Romain had complaints from both Sainz and Ricciardo about dangerous driving. It looked like he was not concentrated at all but somehow this was still his "best race".
Thank you F1 for being open minded and making the decision on the previous upload. Beyond that: keep the great work, you make a lot of us happy keeping this community together
Lewis winning with a puncture I think has taken the wind out of every other driver's sails. I really think he's probably won the season just because of that.
That doesn't make sense at all... His engineer says "use energy" is he somehow supposed to use his own energy... Does RP have pedals in the car....?? It was obvious both were talking about the ERS... That was just China all over again when he kept pressing the radio button instead of energy.....
@@sameerratnaparkhi9631 His ERS was actually broken. He was using energy the entire time, but the enginers saw it as full So yeah, he didn't have any energy
To be honest dropping out of the points from 2nd/4th position right before the end of the race would feel a lot worse to me than not being able to start in the first place.
@@malinkvist6193 Probably nobody more unlucky this weekend than Nico Hulkenberg. Got a chance to come back to F1. With a good car. Wasn't even allowed that start due to some technical issue with his car.
Kvyat's gotta be the first guy in a very long time to actually pull all the blame onto himself for that crash.. The Irony is that it wasn't even his fault, as his right-rear tyre felt and threw him into a spin.
