every single time I watch your vids is just about the positive vibe that you always bring regardless if I'm going to end up buying the products or not. But most of my gears that I bought is because you convinced me to lol. Looking forward to your new vids everyday. cheers

This channel is like spying on me. You just know that I am looking to do a keyboard build so you make a video reviewing different keyboards.

To be honest, I think your video did not mention the big flaw of this keyboards. the OP software is really poor. It seems not maintenance well. I just bought the streak65 because I saw lot of youtuber like you keep praising this keyboards. But the biggest lie that I felt here is you or the other youtubers did not mentioned (or purposely not mentioned) about the software is very bad. (at least on the date I have write this comment, the OP software is still the worst). Key binding setup is very bad, even I cannot bind those 4 profiles button to a normal insert, delete, pgup, pgdn. The software OP is really buggy, can suddenly blank, the streak65 key allocation is not correct.. Bad software is for sure causing a bad experience for the keyboard usage. I have agreed with you about how sturdy this keyboard are, those switches are nice, not noisy, no rattle, nothing wrong with the key at all. But there are few bad things about this keyboard that you not mentioned: 1. The profile Key (1,2,3,4 on the right side of keyboard) are not function as profiles swap. The worst is, by default those 4 keys are literally do nothing. By right you can change it to the default insert, del, pgup, pgdown. But due to worst software, good luck with that.. you will never be able to assign that 4 keys to the default del/pgup/pgdown. 2. The LED coloring is great, until you set the brightness to low (2-3 out of 5 level). The color separation is bad, especially for gradient color and faded animation color. This could be a potential defect, but have you check on your keyboard? because everything is good only when you set the brightness to the max (4-5 out of 5). 3.The quick guide is really useless, not because it isn't informative, but it doesn't contain any explanation. And somehow it just look copy and paste from previous product (streak/streak mini) All observation above are not mentioned in any of reviewer out there. I hope you could re check your streak65 and confirm whether my finding above are valid. And since you are "close" with fnatic sales, please ask them to maintain their OP software ASAP. I don't understand why they dare to release a final product to customer with half-baked software like now. FYI the current OP version is v0.0.40

Are there any recommended keycaps that can be purchased to replace the stock ones or is customization out of the question for this keyboard?

Bro this looks great, fnatic just nail the aesthetics. Great video too bro, deffo a BIG bummer on the caps considering you cannot swap them out for aftermarket ones

Are after market low profile pbt keycaps a thing? I’ve never owned a mechanical keyboard or a keyboard at that besides a laptop but right now I’m in the market for my soon to be 6800xt pc build. You recommend any other keyboards or think this is a good purchase? (If I could switch out the keycaps)

dope intro as for my dream keyboard is the G915, Programmable macros, Low profile, Sleek design so gorgeous...But only if it was a bit cheaper

You really wasn’t typing anything you weren’t typing words in the type test I could tell because your fingers were hitting the number keys

When i got mine, it was amazing. I ended up returning it because it was defective (I'm fairly certain mine was NOT like most models) but in the few days where i had it, it really helped me transition to normal mechanical keyboards from my old membrane one. Awesome review!

I agree with the typos on most fast switches. Before I used speed silvers and my typing always had tons of errors. I use cream switches now since they're a heavier linear. I feel like that keyboard could use some sound dampening in the bottom of the case. If they release the doubleshot pbt keycaps with the shortcuts for it then I'd buy this.

How does this compare to the Roccat TKL? Since both are low profile with ABS keycaps and would you recommend one over the other? I main the Corsair k70 low profile with speed switch and occasionally play with the drop alt but something is still missing and I'm itching on getting a new keyboard.

Hi techne I’m in the market for a new keyboard the keyboard I am considering is the SteelSeries apex 7 tkl with red switches and the gk61 with yellow switches which one should I get plz respond

Just want to share my personal experience about this keyboard: This keyboard is really not worthy the price. Especially when it comes to software department. That's really awful. I use this keyboard for 10 months++ already. Still can't assign per key colour. Macro and key remapping still really sucks. They did not (unable to) do anything to fix the issues although already reported since many months ago. Overall experience with this keyboard is really disappointing. Totally 180 degrees differ with the others reviewer comments out there. Now I doubted whether the reviewers that saying good about this keyboard are really know what they are reviewing or not :(. Because of you guys, I bought this keyboard. But as per now, I really don't recommend this keyboard, especially if you see from software perspective.

I’m telling you bro this keyboard is a face only a mother could love. 1mm switch HELL NO. plastic body nope. Abs proprietary caps no. Thing is dog shit. Fact check: huntsman mini is 1.2mm 48g your trying to say the TE but didn’t remember the name on the spot it seemed.

Hey Techne, I had the same issue with the space bar LED's on my Ducky One 2 TKL, I cut a couple pieces of white electrical tape to cover them. It works perfect, not more bright LED's shining straight in my eyes and now it is a smooth diffused RGB under my spacebar.

from what i see it seems that applications assigned to profiles open when i select that profile....but i want the opposite (like how it's on the mice). Profile must be changed when i open that application (game)...is this possible?

As a sufferer of RSI it is no joke my arms and elbows hurt but then as a gamer I am an old fart lol. I use a trackball when not gaming to save my arms and elbows for gaming.

Techne, killing it as always! Can't really tell from videos but would you say these sound comparable to Kailh's BOX silent pinks? If so, this might be my endgame and replace my Kemove 61 Shadow with KBSPs (both bought after watching your reviews, so thanks for making my wallet lighter!).

If only Fnatic products weren't so overpriced here in Canada :( But I truly understand your love for low profile switches. I truly loved the Alienware AW510K when I had it. It was stinkin solid but there was one downside with it: too large... I would wished they had made a TKL version of it because it was stinkin solid. As for the Streak 65, not available in Amazon Canada yet... but knowing they are selling their headset and mice pretty expensive here, I'll simply pass unfortunately. But as far as low profile switches goes, maybe you could give a shot to the Cooler Master SK630 keyboard for your reviews, although I notice you review much more newer stuff than old things like the former I mentionned. Great video as well, it's so nice seeing the evolution from what you started and what you are right now. It's only going upward, good job for that =)

The GK61 has a response time of .02ms. Whats this response time? I’ll have to buy this if it’s comprable. It looks to be better than the DK61e w/ optical silvers that i want with it’s 65% layout, software and it’s interesting build. Thanks for bringing it to my attention techne!
