I delivered construction supplies there a few times during the build of this track. I was on that track with a knuckle boom flatbed. All I wanted was to go around once, but sadly, I haven't been around it. It looks amazing.

Born in Vancouver, moved all over the place, I think I just found my home. I was thinking Vernon or maybe on the Island somewhere but now all I want to do is open an ice cream stand at the track so I can put gas in my bimmer. Really. My thanks to the whole team.

Need to have a daily or weekend special for the public, there are tons of us in the greater vancouver area who are willing to come down for a weekend renting a hotel at Oliver, a few hundred bucks for 2 days at the track for sure, but not for $54,000 a year.

There are track days you can do there. About 2 years ago my buddy went with a group, it was $750 for the track pass. He rented a uHaul+trailer booked a hotel, days off etc etc. Got to the track to only find out someone put sugar in his gas tank.

$50,000 membership +$4,000/year is a bit expensive . Nice track but considering you can go around the Nurburgring for less than $50/lap. I would be better to pay for flights and have 40+ laps around the Nurburgring a year.

Membership at Area 27 is sold out as of about a week ago. Myself, I put on 1000 plus laps this year. So at your Nurburgring pricing, I've paid for my Life-time, re-sellable, transferrable to my kids membership in one year. Membership was between 30k-45k depending on what time you joined. It takes capital funds to build infrastructure and also takes funds to maintain infrastructure, so unfortunately it cant be given away for free.

I just visited your website and RU-vid page for some stylistic tips. Two quick questions... (1) how much does AOL web hosting cost nowadays, and (2) what model of camcorder do you use to get that authentic home video look? 😅

I lived in Penticton in '90 and '91 and I thought the only thing that little jewel of a valley needed was a racetrack. I thought it would be good on the west side of the lake and north a bit, but hey, what can you do.

I love chiefs that use their imaginations, think outside the box and answer the door when opportunity knocks instead of keeping it closed just because they can.

Is it always this dusty there?
@RSeibert09
@RSeibert09 6 лет назад
No, the site was originally dusty because of the nature of construction but since then the grass has grown back enough already to hold the dirt down even in windy conditions.
