Join me on a motorcycle camping trip through the North Cascades National Park, Mt. Baker National Forest, and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. I rented a Ducati Monster while visiting Washington and filmed the trip during July 2023. In the video, I explore the idea of how the type of motorcycle you purchase (or rent, in my case) shapes the types of riding that you do & the ways you experience motorcycling yourself. Owning an older bike might make you ride less but also force you to develop better mechanical knowledge and understanding, yet owning a newer bike can do exactly the opposite. A Dual-sport motorcycle will allow you to ride dirt, but you might not be as willing to drive it to dinner or the cafe. So choose wisely, or rent/buy different types to figure out the type of motorcycle life you want to live!
