A Durable Diver For Smaller Wrists - Marathon Search & Rescue Automatic MSAR (36mm) 

Hello, great channel! You have really taught me so much and helped re-ignite my love of watches. I am a one watch kind of guy and looking for my everyday timepiece. What would you recommend between this, marathon msar and the christopher ward c60 trident? I'm pretty torn between the 2. I won't be diving below 1000ft so that raring is not important. Thanks for all the great watch knowledge!

@@Tribalius I don’t have the watch anymore, but it was very comfortable on my 7.5” wrist. I preferred it to the larger 41mm GSAR.

@@Tribalius Great. I found one second hand and it really is a nice watch.

Sellita makes a nice movement and I think they have improved their product since Swatch has limited access to their movements. I always pop into Lum-Tec and talk with the guys there about different movements and they say they are easy to work with and from a brand perspective, I don't blame them considering the games associated with ETA. I find that for movements it really comes down to who the company is and for a brand like Marathon who needs to sustain military specification then this became even less of an issue as Seiko 6R models and Miyotas have their own issues. Also, I think the long-term serviceability is there so any watchmaker can easily take care of issues that arise and parts are cheap in comparison. I happened to look at this today: calibercorner.com/sellita-caliber-sw200-1/ In that article, there's a link to this discussion which also talks about the hand winding issue with the ETA 2824: www.watchuseek.com/threads/number-of-crown-turns-required-to-fully-wind-a-new-2824-2.808693/ The ETA and Sellita movements are ubiquitous, so you'll have a hard time avoiding them.

I own both! Not as feather light as the DW5600 but pretty close. I highly recommend it if you wanna change it up.

Standard grade but i suspect checked before installed. I haven't heard of anyone having problems with accuracy.

Yes, one is going up tonight. The other we have been working on has taken weeks to complete as it an animation driven video explaining the spring drive.

I just want to be thoughtful about featuring watches available on my store there as three years of trust could go away if it comes across like a big sales pitch. I think this watch is certainly worthy of its own video on the main channel, I just don't want to overcommercialize the main channel, especially in these early stages as I think it might turn people off even if it is a watch like this that is objectively solidly made. Selling watches is how I am going to make my living but I am still figuring out the balance of supporting myself while not overly covering the brands that I sell there.
