I think the STI had better cornering and his braking was conservative. You can't really say anything about the top end because on the straights he was just out of sight pulling away each time. This STI in particular didn't look like he was pushing it like you were. Nice job hanging.
I appreciate you taking criticism from some of these people and not completely going off on them,some people think they are perfect or that they're entitled to tell others how they feel even though them not knowing you makes their criticism seem foreign
That's the stock motor you are hearing. The only handling mod at this time was Hankook RS3 tires and ENkei RPF1 wheels. My car is probably 4-5 seconds faster per lap now
How did he get spanked? Did you see how much ground the Z made up? I'm a Z driver and stock for stock it's a very even match. You were pushin hard man, you wanted him bad lol, good run. Would have been a good race if you left the paddock together. What kind of tires are you using? If you haven't tried them already, look into some NT01s. It was night and day difference once I started using them
As an owner of both a 2005 350Z and a 2015 STI, let me just say that I really appreciate a versus video that's not some ridiculous 40 roll highway video. These cars aren't built for drag racing, but for cornering instead.
Nice driving man! last year I was at the track with my buddy he has a G35 S and his dad who has a 1972 Datsun 240Z completely restored. Went as a passenger in the Datsun and it was the coolest thing ever.
