wonderful. Biblical. 100% correct. I don't understand why some people have a problem with this simple message regarding The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. It's very simple and plain in the bible. Even in the book of Revelation it is written that Jesus Christ is sitted on the right hand side of God the Father. Most Christians in their canal wisdom don't understand this basic rather obvious message.

The word of God when it is accepted in our heart will transform us . We should be very careful how we accept and reject the word of God.Sanctification is a growing process and it is indeed difficult for babes to eat meat . God put together a plan of salvation stick to it and as you and I grow we will better understand. I am sure that some of us have struggles in other areas of the Bible. The presenter says "They have different functions..." Meaning, Jesus and the Spirit, BUT he does seems to be selective, he would not read these verses...Col 1:16-20, 1Cor 8:6, staying all were and are done by Jesus, OR 1 Cor 15:45, 2 Cor 3:17, which say Jesus is the Spirit, point blank. He ignores plain verses which says Jesus lives in a believer through the Spirit. Jesus says "Howbeit when he the spirit of truth is come he will guide you into all truth..." John 16:13. You did not understand what u are saying...u have to read your Bible more earnestly by the help of the spirit of God (Father n Christ). That's the function of the Holy Spirit. There is no difference. The Father and the Son are God (divine or spiritual). When the Bible says the Spirit of God, it simply means the Spirit of both the Father n Son. There is only one Holy Spirit.

About God's church, read Exodus 20:8-11. Which day did God rest? Which day did He make Holy? Which day does He tell us not to work? If you pray and ask God to guide you through the Holy Spirit, he will lead you to truth. The choice is yours to take.
In Act 14 it talks about gathering the church together. Hebrew 10:25 says "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another: and so much more, as ye see the day approaching."
Reading the comments i see why The adventist church breeds so many offshoots . we are encouraged to question and not just accept the views of others but the Bible is truth and we must ensure that our beliefs a grounded in truth. And truth is not necessarily logical
I really don't get this trinity message. If the bible tells us in john 4 :24 that God himself is spirit and we know He is the sources of all life, then how can another separate spirit being exist in the trinity? Mrs white in all her writtens condemn the Trinitarian concept of God existence. Randy skeete I do respect but I think we need to study this well because the history behind the concept and how it creep into the church is out there.

I disagree that the Holy Spirit is a personage. Any time the holy spirit is spoken of as.. "OF" God not "A" God. The holy spirit is the energy and essence of God the Father and Jesus Christ. We are guided by the spirit filled with the spirit at baptism and grow in the spirit in our Christian journey. Not one of the letters of the New Testament begin with the mention of the holy spirit . I was born into a SDA family and always believed in the ‘trinity: god the father, god the son, and god the holy spirit” doctrine until recently; however, studying the Scriptures with the Spirit of Prophecy and our Pioneers beliefs, I can wholeheartedly say I was dead wrong and all those who believe as such are wrong too, as the trinity doctrine is a false pagan doctrine which was brought into the church primarily by LeRoy Froom whom I found to be a Jesuit Catholic priest and more likely joined the SDA church for the sole purpose to deceive and mislead many thus leading them to perdition. Please study the Scriptures and Spirit of Prophecy diligently with prayer and find out for yourself that NONE of our Pioneers nor Sister White believed in the trinity. For example, she refuted Dr Kellog and a preacher by the name Chapman who came to believe in “god the father, god the son and god the holy spirit”, three gods in unity or “triune god”, thus “god the holy spirit” being a different person to the Father and to the Son [Jesus Christ.] Here just a few quotes from Sister White and some of our Pioneers on this matter, which trinitarians are ignoring if not despising: "Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally; therefore it was altogether for their advantage that He should leave them, go to His Father, and send the Holy Spirit to be His successor on earth. The Holy Spirit is Himself, divested of the personality of humanity, and independent thereof. He would represent Himself as present in all places by His Holy Spirit, as the Omnipresent. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall [although unseen by you] teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. ... Where was the ’god the holy spirit?’ After all, if he is ‘god’ being co-eternal and co-equal with the Father, how is it that he could not enter into all the counsels and purposes of God? For example, in John 14:1, John 17:3 and 1 Corinthians 8:6 where we read, I quote, "... ye believe in God, believe also in me." (John 14:1); - two divine beings, and not three! "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." Now, if the ONE GOD would consist of three Divine and Co-eternal Beings, as trinitarians believe, then he would have said "but to us there is but one God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit," but he did not say that. In the New Testament we find ONLY two divine beings, the Father and the Son. For example, Jesus told His disciples He is the Comforter. (John 14:16-18) In verse 18 Jesus called the "Comforter" the "Spirit of Truth" and the "Spirit of Truth" is none other than Christ Himself! (John 14:6) Another example, in John 10:30 we read, I quote, Jesus said "I and my Father are one." This verse does not say, "I and the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one God." Again, in Revelation we find only two Divine Beings sitting on the throne, but no where do we find the Holy Spirit as a separate being to the Father and to the Son. We have to be very careful not to take the Scripture out of context since it interprets itself, as throughout the whole Scripture the Holy Spirit is referred to as the Spirit of God and of Christ. The Scriptures tell us that the Holy Spirit is the 'Spirit of God' (Genesis 1:2; 41:38; Exodus 31:3; 35:31; Numbers 24:2; 1 Samuel 10:10; 19:20, 23; 2 Chronicles 24:20; Job 27:3; Ezekiel 11:24; Mat. 3:16; 12:28; etc.) or the 'Spirit of the Lord God' (Isaiah 21:1) and Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19; 1 Peter 1:11), and not a separate divine being from the Father and the Son, as it never refers to as the 'Lord' or 'God' the Holy Spirit. We MUST be very careful in what we believe as the devil is running to and fro on the face of this earth to deceive and to devour as many as he can. Therefore, study the Scriptures, the Spirit of Prophecy and the history of the church including the beliefs of our Pioneers for yourselves and let none foul you. We need to be like the Bereans, who went home and studied the Scriptures for themselves to see if it were so!
My friend, it is because you never take time to prayerfully study God's word earnestly by the help of his Holy Spirit. That's why you are confused with this simple but plain truth. As I said, I always believed in the trinity, I was even ready to lay down my life for it until the Lord clearly showed me that I was utterly wrong! If you have studied the Scriptures prayerfully, then you can only acknowledge that in the whole Scripture you ONLY find two divne beings: God, the Father, and His Son, two and not three. In Deuteronomy 6:4 we read, I quote, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:" And Jesus said, I quote, "... ye believe in God, believe also in me." Regarding the Holy Spirit, the Scriptures tell us that it is the 'Spirit of God' (Gen. 1:2; 41:38; Ex. 31:3; 35:31; Num. 24:2; 1 Sam. 10:10; 19:20, 23; 2 Chron. 24:20; Job 27:3; Ezek. 11:24; Mat. 3:16; 12:28; etc.) or the 'Spirit of the Lord God' (Isa. 21:1) and Spirit of Jesus Christ (Phil. 1:19; 1 Pet. 1:11), and not a separate divine being from the Father and the Son, as it never refers to as the 'Lord' or 'God' the Holy Spirit. If you believe in a triune god: god the father, god the son and god the holy spirit, three co-eternal and co-equal beings, which nowhere do we you find in Scripture, then you believe in three gods simply because 1 + 1 + 1 = 3, and not one, no matter how you count them.But, if you still insist that there are three in one, or one in three, you would only need to ask a 4 or 5 years old child who would most certainly smile at you and tell you that 1 + 1 + 1 = 3, and not one. Sadly, children know far better than trinitarians. So, god the holy spirit is none other than Satan himself who invented this false and spurious doctrine through which he robs God the Father and His Son from worship, which belongs them ALONE. In 1 John 2:22b we read, I quote, "... He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." Therefore the trinity doctrine destroys the Father and Son relationship because trinitarians believe in three co-eternal and co-equal beings, which they can't support with Scripture.

Jesus said, "... in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:", and not names. I am sure, you know that in Scripture name means character. However, in Acts 10:48 we read, I quote, "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." Here we see that Peter commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Now, the quetsion is, did Peter deliberately disobey his Lord? If he did, then he rebelled against Him by introducing a false and pagan practice. If he did the right thing, then thrinitarians cannot use Matthew 28:19 as a proof text. In any way, Matthew 28:19 DOES NOT say that these three are one, or these three are the trune God, or these three are the trinity. John 1:1-3 is does not prove the trinity either. Here the apostle clearly and plainly distinguishes between "the God, ton Teon", and "God, Theos". Therefore "the God" in John 1:1 is the God, the Father, and "God" is His Son. Two divine beings: the Father and the Son, (John 14:1b; 17:3; 1 Corinthians 8:6 and 1 John 2:22b), and not three. Genesis 1:1-3, 26 does not say three, it says, God said let us make man in our image and our likeness. Here God the Father spoke to His Son through whom He created all things, (John 1:3; 1 Corinthians 8:6 and Colossians 1:16). In John 4:24 Jesus tells us that the Father is a spirit being, but He also has a form because He created us [throgh His Son] in His and His Son's image and likeness. So the Father and His Son must have a form because we have a form. Nevertheless, God the Father and His Son have a Spirit, known to as as the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost, but it is not a separate being from them.

God the Father God the Son God the Holy Spirit Can God die? = No Then why did Jesus die, he is God? = Since Jesus is both human and God, therefore in his human condition he died, and raised himself from the dead because he is God under the command of his Father who said unto him(Jesus), tell them that you(Jesus) "have power to lay down your life, and you have power to take it back again". Jesus says "I AM the RESURRECTION and the LIFE". Therefore Christ raised himself from the dead, and the Father is glorified because Christ obey the Fathers command which said that he(Christ) have the power to lay down his life and have power to take it back again. Thus, Gods Word cannot be studied and understood without the leading and guidance of his Holy Spirit. Jesus says "Howbeit when he the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth. For he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine and shall shew it unto you.
