I grew up right behind this building, and I had to walk past it every day to go to school. Even though back then it was a rooming house, I still even as a little girl knew that something was wrong with that building. I wouldn't walk on the same side of the street. I always felt like someone was looking at me from the third floor. At that time I had no knowledge of the down syndrome child, that lived there years ago. I know he was locked in that room most of the time

I also grew up four blocks from the Lemp mansion. On Utah and Illinois. I went to Shepard school. I have always had a fascination with the Lemp History. I watch all these videos on So. St. Louis. ❤

I ate at the Lemp Mansion years ago. I didn't feel anything or see much and kind of went on a self guided tour. My wife didn't feel comfortable going in though.

COLIN....as a mom who has been battling along side my 18 year old son for two yeats,severe clinical depression and anxiety, and attempted suicide and emergency therapy and medical treatment.... I want to commend your deep respect and awareness for this mental health illness. I wish more people would post the awareness when they investigate these places that were tragic with Suicide. It is real...especially nowadays. It can be survived and they can win. But it's an uphill battle. And it affects everyone in the family. I have been my sons fiercest advocate....and 2 years later...he is winning his battles. Thank you so much for being respectful and aware. I have so much respect for you for that. This was an amazing video. Thank you. A mom who loves her son. Good job Julie ❤💚🙏❤

I want to personally thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for recognizing and genuinely caring about those who suffer from Mental Illness. It is a disease that many people, even in today's time, do not believe is an actual affliction. It is absolutely real, absolutely hard and absolutely looked down on. I have never seen a Paranormal investigator video in where the creator gives their audience the opportunity to reach out directly to them for help. You guys are truly inspirational and appreciated!!!

Plus he makes it a family affair with his father Jeff, his mother Mary and his wife Courtney. Plus his brother in law Connor. It’s awesome to see how they all support each other. The person that was talking to you while you were sensory deprived was the "illegitimate" son, Zeke. He was trapped, he couldn't remember his name, because they called him by a mean false name, they wouldn't let him leave, and he asked you to stay.

Just in case you aren't aware, the Mansion served as a boarding house for many years and fell into disarray. The Pointer family had alot of work on their hands when they purchased it in the 70s to bring it to where it is today.

I agree!! In order to get to the other side you must put in place certain communication equipment "sometimes" . And when you're doing paranormal you want to capture the purpose of these entities and spirits. They may need help and you may get an understanding of why the activity even occurs.

One thing I will say about Colin and his family and the Paranormal Files aside from being authentic as f**k is that these investigators leave no stone unturned with the deep history and facts they give leaves you feel in glike you've learned something from each episode. So even if you don't believe in ghosts, the history lesson given from down to earth perspective makes you want to watch this channel. That's why I have subscribed and besides the fact that everytime I watch the episodes I get the craziest dreams that feel so real. These started after I started watching the Paranormal Files episodes. I have to say I love Colin's f**kin hair, I love Mary's kindness and love for Colin, I love Courtney because she's so cute and absolutely love Jeff cause his sense of humour is insanely adorable. Thanks for bringing up the bat's as well. That episode creeped me out but I laughed so hard....

Lol!! I noticed when Colin was between those 2 mirrors facing eachother that he got a bit spacey. People often lose all sense of time in that spot. That is a well traveled paranormal spot so I can only imagine how strong that portal is. Stay too long in that spot and you usually end up sick and extremely dizzy. So many have thrown up being there for too long.

I'm not sure if someone else caught/mentioned this (if so, sorry for the repeat) but at around 30:11 there is a light anomaly to the left of Colin's head. It first goes toward him then changes direction and travels upward right before that EVP sounds like "...had to go". Could be an insect but I found that interesting. Then around 1:47:17 that unexplainable voice sounds like it's saying "Get out my room". At least with my earbuds in that's what it sounds like to me.

My wife and I stayed there this past Thursday and Friday night in the Elsa room. We read all the notes hidden under one of the floorboards in that room. I didn't experience anything, but had a wonderful time. It's a beautiful building with lots of history. The restaurant and staff are wonderful, too. Can't wait to visit again.

When using the evp recorder, try doing small 2 minute burst sessions and that way u can play them back right then and it won’t take up to much of your time. Great capture by the way! Much love from Tennessee!

It almost seemed like it was a family argument during the blind/deaf method. One wanting to leave so badly, but the other family members refusing to let them leave because the rest of the family was there. There was a lot of energy in that moment.

Maaan! I used to work here and I wish I did while y’all were there! I truthfully never had anything happen. I spent a lot of time in the basement and always felt creepy, but that was about it.

Personally I think voice recorders are a great tool, but setting it down helps cut out possible movement noise. They truly pick up things on a wavelength not heard in person and sometimes film, as you can see or rather hear here. Great captures on that recorder btw. They sound pretty creepy.❤️🖤🖤❤️

Agreed, that’s why I stated my skepticism myself but these responses were truly out of the ordinary even while moving. Most responses also came when the recorder was very still!

About the whistle thing, if you connect it to the story, you guys mentioned that the owners had a dog and that it was also killed there. So I think maybe the whistle thing is how the owners call the attention of their dog aside from its name (which is a universal thing to do,) and the one making that sound is probably one of the Lemps.

I love how at the end you thought a chair would protect you from a ghost and that you kept coming up with heart stopping scenarios. My ass would have left and picked up my equipment the next day. I also noticed that during the sensory deprivation that Jeff was talking to Colin at times. Can he hear Jeff a little?
