Their kids are such awesome curious little guys, and so respectful to everyone. We had many conversations with just the kids, and it was so refreshing to connect on that level.
@@OverlandUncharted nice build your just missing rain capture off the roof and filter and incinerator toilet and low powered washing machine. And heated floors you have enough power to run it all 🙂. Nice build inspiring
You can tell Jen & Kirt have done a build out before. Starting with a big empty box and transforming it into a comfortable home on wheels in 2 months has to be a record. I love the colors & the backsplash in the kitchen. The copper sink is a beautiful addition. Big Red looked comfortable & well laid out. Macho is a veritable penthouse on wheels. With the torque & horsepower of a 5500 Ram truck, there are no off limits to this rig -except maybe low tree branches. This couple has built an Earthroamer at a fraction of the cost. Ok, maybe Macho doesn’t level itself out automatically or inflate its tires automatically or come with a wine cellar, but it’s close.
I must have been told a million times that your dreams are attainable, but when she said it at the end, something clicked and resonated with me. My kids think I’m crazy but I WILL live in a tiny home someday! 😊
I met these guys in person about 3 weeks ago in Cathedral Gorge Nevada. I had recognized them from their RU-vid channel so it was a treat to see them in person and get a tour of MACHO in person. They were super hospitable to me and the group I was with and answered many questions! A very nice family with an awesome Earth Roamer! It even has a pull-up bar on the back!😂
@@largemarge1603 Vaguely, I feel like we saw something like that in our research. Unfortunately, we were so pressed for time with the build and needed stuff that was readily available. The bunks are standard sized RV bunks and the mattress we got delivered from Amazon.
Wow… I love your kitchen area. It’s absolutely gorgeous & functional. I respect the fact that your living your life by what’s important to you & your family & what makes you happy. Stay safe & blessings to you all ❤️
For as much as I admire your work, what I can't get over where is your alone time in the bedroom when you have two children of an age when they should have some alone time as well.notbeing critical but would it not been better with a skoolie I know needs must and you have your reason,Best of luck Regards from Hereford UK
What a wonderful video!!! Thank you so much for sharing!! Your boys are adorable, and they are getting THE BEST education ever ~ travelling, meeting new people, with one adventure after another. Continue to enjoy your awesome life ~ sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance always! I love you.
What a wonderfully happy family❤️I really love their positive attitudes & how they trust themselves in doing what they know makes them happy! Not following the rat race is a great option…more of us should do that!
Great idea! Especially not conforming to everyone else’s dreams. We broke away from public education and homeschooled. We raised caring, adventurous and smart adults. Because, they learned to think for themselves. God bless your path.
I'm always so excited when I get a new episode from Jenna and her tiny homes episodes! You just made my day! I take note of every tiny home you showcase so that when I finally have mine, I'm going to take bits and pieces from every single episode, I've seen ,to make the best experience that I possibly can ,and for the cheapest price! Thank you for this awesome Channel XX Jenna love this channel so much🌈💕🐾🐾🐾💯 this is 2022 let's fast forward 10 years 2032 this will be not just a Corky cool idea it's going to be a main main vein that's pumping through the world!
Absolutly love this family! There build is amazing and the freedom they have to go almost anywhere is great! Im limited in my 25 foot class A 1994 Winnebago Warrior. I can go alot of places that bigger motorhomes cant but with her age now and me going on my 5th year living in her full time alone at 61 years old I am now going places not as far out there. Ill tell you my happy 454 chevy motor thinks she can go anywhere. LOL!
Appreciate that! We wanted an upgrade from the van but small enough to fit places like you outline. We can still fit in a normal parking spot as long as we can hang over!
Agreed! So many benefits, peace of mind, security....there are so many other road schooling families out there as well. It can be as easy as you want it to meet up with other families!
Y'all are living life like the adventure it should be, the great exploration. The kiddos are happy, that's what makes it absolutely 💯 beautiful. I love ❤️ this amazing home with all the genius you've poured into it. Everything seems possible here. I've learned so much. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Now that is a fab box truck home. The layout, design, colour, furnishings. A place for everything and everything in its place. Such fun, happy family memories to be made, especially when the kids are so young. Wonderful and well done!!
It was beautiful to see the smiles & happiness radiating off your family. Your boys are so precious❕I smiled so hard when they introduced us to their special friends lol. Got a few ideas from this, thanks for sharing your life & home. 😊🤎
The boys are adorable. I have 4 boys & we live in a 32ft camper. We are almost done building our house & I honestly can’t wait. It’s not super easy (for us!) living tiny as a family of 6.
It's fantastic truck life and happy family's dream life, whereby you can travel and experience different places at different time but yet in the comfort and safety of a beautiful home 🏡.👍🥰
Definitely impressive! I love their setup - there are so many useful and beautiful things built into their home, and I wish them the best in all of their travels.
This would be great for weekend get aways... Keep it around for that... Boys will be teenagers soon.. An actual larger living space will be needed in future for sure.
What a great home! I think it’s wonderful that you can all live and travel as a family. I’m glad you’re making the most of those crucial years when your kids are young.
I love everything about your life and this truck. For the boys its an endless camping trip. Living on a tropical island where it gets pretty hot, i would definitely need a/c as well. Greetings from Jamaica.
I think the layout is great. Love it❤️The boys are gonna have so much wonderful memories. I grew up in the country side coastal area with my sisters and cousins. And we all lived in our ancestral home. We used to camp out in our living room 😂pretending we're at the forest. But we're already living in a farm area😂
What a fun & great childhood memory! Thank you for your kind comment, we started making vids so we could remember our trips when the kids were young and watch them grow all over again one day. Appreciate your support!
Neat! The house is really organized and works well with such a small space! I bet it’s hard on the kids to not have a constant education or any long term friends. I hope the parents are able to homeschool them even just a little bit.
This is an absolutely beautiful video - your mobile home is beyond amazing, but to me, the most important thing I took from this is how happy, content, grateful but above all, the love of family - just so beautiful to watch and something we must all aspire to. As you said, you are finding yourselves on your journey....and to me, that was the most profound statement - just sublime. Even though 'people' chase to acquire materialistic things, be fake etc. somehow they still complain when they achieve that and it is 'never enough'. However, you have shown that you don't need to mortgage out your souls in pursuit of keeping up with the trends, but to seek tranquility and happiness. May you continue on your incredible path - blessings always - Psyche aka Psyche Thompson UK 🌹🕊🙏🏽
I love the deck and the awning with the netting all around really extends their living space. I love all Jennas videos; I feel like they all have such an upbeat, happy and genuine vibe.
Wow!!! What an amazing achievement. I love the build, the attention to detail and organization. And most of all, I love the family. ♥️ God bless you and keep you safe and fulfilled. You are incredible. 😊😍🙏💕
What a great adventure for those boys, so much to see and learn. VERY efficient build, space wise, so well thought out. Love that back porch that can be screened in. Just as "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", only they can determine the cost value for themselves. Kudos, and wish them many happy travels. Good for them!
What a beautiful tiny house on wheels! Love that it looks so well finished inside, as well as the bug net for the deck, the serious amount of solar and the robustness of the motor.
@Chiara, Agreed. Your 'robust' is a good description of the Cummins 5500. With its commercial foundation, with business operators relying on its resilience, I think this platform offers significant resilience... ... and the family intimacy is building resilience into the youngsters, as well. . This rig and this family easily earns TheLargeMarge SealOfApproval.
appreciate it! we actually set up an amazon storefront with all of our box truck build materials because we get asked all the time! almost everything in Macho is from amazon haha!
For those of you wondering, it costs him 350 dollars to fill his tank with 74 gallons of fuel and he gets 10 miles to the gallon. That means he can travel 740 miles on one tank. So that's 740 divided by 350 equals him spending 2 dollars and eleven cents for each mile he drives on diesel fuel.
Loving the build. The boys were so cute showing their ‘rooms’. The sleeping situation is great, but, what about your ‘privacy’? Wishing you safe and exiting journeys
You have the rest of your life to find something else. This time with your children can NEVER be bought back. Lose it and it's gone. I learned I had the rest of my life to find a great career after I got to stay home for 7 years with my children until the girls went to school. I worked the first many years part time until they were done high school and trust me, they need you present more later than they actually do young. My husband used to laughingly say that he would work the first 7 and I had to work the last 7 and darned if that wasn't exactly what happened? I actually worked 8 years after he retired but we bought an acre and he put a little cabin on it and took all the grandkids out for weekends out of the City. Don't wait to do the things you think are the right thing for your little family. Time really is fleeting and as Mom said, the kids are really growing. Best wishes to you four.
love the design and so creative. Beautiful colors, I like the 'natural' feel you have created. Lovely family, the children are adorable. Wishing you the best on your adventures.
It's really not glamping if you are a full-time rv-er.. that mini split is a necessity when you are living on the road..overlanding doesn't mean struggling..its a beautiful build and they should feel proud of what they built and are building their future on. 😀
This is exactly what we are thinking of doing off grid in Canada. We also have 2 little ones and they are even planning where they will have their beds and tiny closets.
Trip in a van is a utube channel of an Australian family of 5, who have been living in a caravan for 6 years, travelling around Australia. They go into lots of details about how they live, how they homeschool, how they eat, etc. Really good information.
