The four kids from this family suffer from a rare disease known as eosinophilic enteropathy, which causes their white blood cells to think that the food they eat is a parasite and attack it. They have numerous medical complications as a result, and their dilapidated home is making matters even worse. They are much loved by their parents and their dad is a hero because he has decided to go back to school to find a cure for his children.

This is a wonderful house. Many of the people on this show are physically able to improve their homes for their children, but are too busy doing other things. Charity begins at home. This family deserves all of this, and I know the kids are going to be so much healthier, with clean air, clean water, the sterile room for their formulas, etc. I loved the baby's reaction to her Pooh room! My very best wishes for the whole family.

I was crying to see the kindness that you gave to this family. Provided them a better home that they can live comfortably without have to stress about the air that will make the kids sick. These parents are really care about their kids, I noticed them check out their kids photos on the wall first.

This is hard to watch without crying man. I'm a father of 4 beautiful kid's who I love and cherish the most. Watching these 2 parents going through what they're going through is hard. God will provide a way.

Couldn't stop crying! As a retired ICU, who thought I had seen it all, all children with a rare potentially fatal disease is beyond comprehension. Thank you for making it a little better for them. They unfortunately still have mountains to climb!

Hearing this story is so heartbreaking and coming soon and the four are children that all suffer from the rare disease and financially the husband going back to school you know trying to maintain a home for them and it's the fact that we all know what this show is about and they built to home and they end up going to foreclosure because the people can't afford it no more and that's what hurts the most

It seems like all I ever do is cry anymore. I’m so addicted to this show and I watch every episode some of them over and over again and I just cry and cry and cry. The highlight of my day is rejoicing when I see those incredibly beautiful homes. The REVEAL is the biggest rush I ever get these days!!!😅😂😂

I remember watching this episode of EMHE! I had never even heard of EE before this show! It’s not everyday when you hear about all the kids in the same family suffering from the same rare disease! I hope they’re doing okay these days!

YES! All of Extreme Makeover Home Edition's episodes were made sometime between 2004 - 2011-ish, so these 4 kids would now be immunocompromised teenagers living through a global pandemic. God have mercy.

what hurts the most we know what this show is about they build brand new homes and so the properly value increases and then the people end up losing their homes they couldn't afford the home before what makes you think they're going to be able to afford a new one and these children are going to have to suffer that's shameful

College classes aren't all day every day. Some classes meet twice a week, some three times a week, others once a week. Full or part time is defined by the number of credit hours per term, not the hours the classes take.
