A fantastic board game if you truly love your wife | Pachakuna

This reminds me of one of my favourite games from my childhood. It's called crazy labyrinth. The board consists of stationary pieces, who all have gaps for movable pieces between them on booth sides and diagonally. That way, the openings/ the movable pieces can slide in between the stationary ones. There is one more movable piece than there are spaces for them. Every move starts with a player sliding the spare piece into the board, so that the piece on the other side falls out and becomes the new spare piece. With a combination of straight lines, 90° turns and T-Junctions, the board becomes and ever shifting labyrinth in which the players have to move to certain locations that are assigned randomly. This allows players to both create pathways for themselves and to screw the other players over, like what you were describing.

My husband has been talking about finding some games for the 2 of us and I'm definitely offering this up, it's adorable

I like your solution of the mountain pieces being laid on top of a fixed board with printed hexes - sounds like they should have done more game testing. I have become a boardgame fan and have a spreadsheet of games by player count. Some games on my 2 player coop wish list are: Star Trek Panic (own, can't wait to play), Spy Club (own, can't wait to play), Block Party (ordered, yet to play), Aftermath (own, can't wait to play), Daybreak (climate change), Lord of the Rings boardgame by Reiner Kinizia, Adventure Book Game Princess Bride (also Wizard of Oz and Lord of the Rings versions). My husband and I also enjoy Codenames Duet. Love your reviews. You saved me from buying Fog of Love. Happy boardgaming!

Your camera is set to focus on anything it recognizes as a human eye first, and then whatever you have it set to next. So, if you cover both your eyes with the game miniature, or whatever else you're holding up to the camera it should focus better. Hope that helps!

Prior to having kids, my wife and I spent far to much and still own far to many, boardgames. We were also constantly on the look out for games we could play just the two of us. One game we really liked I believe was called Bejeweled (forgive me for not remembering for it has been many years since we last played). But or favorites were a Rummy card collecting series called Mystery Rummy. The best of which put us in the shoes of the police trying to solve the Jack The Ripper murders. Another favorite were the two player versions of Ticket to Ride. Scandinavia was the first one. With the new city ones coming out recently.

The tiles are filled with Easter eggs too! Not a game changer, but props are definitely due for the joy of discovering them all

If you like trick taking games, there is fox in the forest (competitive), fox in the forest duet (cooperative) of jekyll vs hyde (competitive, works great with different skill levels) in other genres, i have yet to test mindbug and arboretum
