Chris Wood is a very lucky man. Melissa is a genuinely cool person & she comes across as very down to earth and as well and as an added bonus she’s really gorgeous as well. She really was a great Supergirl
Un silencio dice más que mil palabras. El silencio es más importante que las palabras. Ella es inteligente. Sabe lo que hace. Mira como está vestida sencilla y humilde.❤ Su personaje y su actuación fueron tan buenos que opacó a Supergirl
it is a little sad, but do remember that this interview was actually much longer! But they had to cut it a bit of it out, so I assure you, Katie got her time in the spotlight! ❤
What a show, what a series! As the Girl of Steel, Melissa Benoist put a lot of effort and proved to everyone that she is a main protagonist who leads by perfect example! No matter the ups and downs of all episodes combined between each of the six seasons, this show is arguably one of the greatest live action DC Universe Superheroes TV shows I’ve ever seen! My favorite moment in the whole series is without any doubt the final battle against Lex Luthor and other abominable outlaw villains in the season six finale and the finale of the whole series! As a diehard superheroes fan and LEGO fan, I was kind of bummed that the cast members from this series weren’t included as new DLC characters in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham! It really would’ve given all of us good vibes from this show and some potential foreshadowing of Injustice 2! Nevertheless, Benoist is the queen and ruler of all live action heroine superhero protagonists and is highly guaranteed as famous for everything brilliant she accomplished for this thrilling franchise! Way to go, Melissa! Hard work pays off!
Great to hear Toto "Africa" and a good cast. Don't know why Julie was so quiet but i would have liked to hear her talk more. Melissa, several times I have kept thinking you look just like my sister. I expect you will go far.
Just finished binge watching the entire series for like the 3rd time. Then watched the Special Features "A Farewell to Supergirl". (tears) Then watched S1E1 (the pilot) again, to de-tox and calm my nerves. Great series. Wish you all well in your future endeavors Super Cast. .
Not my favorito show but it came out with pretty good story arcs and envolving characters. It was a not perfect but good, well organized and produced show. PS: Melissa is one of the most beautiful ladies in all recent series. I watched the series because of her. Love her.
Yes definitely hopefully when they start making the new supergirl movie under James Gunn that at least they ask Melissa if she would like to star as Kara again but I highly doubt he will though as he's going to be doing a huge reset of the DC franchise
Imagine falling from a skyscraper, Your miserable life carries in an instant before your eyes. You already imagine And then suddenly a strong hand grabs you. You see a young girl in a skirt and cloak, with the letter S on her chest. She saves you, pats you on the shoulder and smiles and flies away.
I've seen pretty much the whole show, praying they would keep Lena good, and especially sticking it out when John Cryers Lex Luthor came. But honestly, how does any superhero show ever take a 2 hour finale and give us 10 minutes of action?!
I just watched those 2 episodes . For starters it's not 2 hours but 42 and 47 minutes which is only 1 and a half hour ,not 2. Also the first of those 2 episodes "The Last Gauntlet" has more than 10 minutes of action in it. In total both episodes have about 20 minutes of action in it .
Well, if it's the last hurrah, you have to, at the very least, closeout the character's story decently; it is not plausible, especially when certain characters have an authentically close bond, such as what Kara Danvers and Lena Luthor had during the show I wanted to see both of them reestablish their fictional human relationship the way peeps do IRL the episodes when Kara returned to National City were more like a professional relationship than personal. After all it can't be all action!
Awww I miss this show so much and now CW has cancelled all the DC shows like supergirl, flash, legends of Tommorow and stargirl and now Lois and Clark has been announced that they are ending after season 4 and so much more I hope the CW network looses so much viewers and they end up in crisis because shows like this are what made CW network popular.
Is katie mcgrath is my one of my idol but, she just smile there while the others are making theirselves a fool. But, anyway she's beautiful at any directions. Even, in Merlin which is the 1st movie serie I've watched.
The best 24:15 minutes of my entire life, we really got to see their chemistry and banter/funny moments. They are awesome and so funny, like chyler saying “in season one I wore 1 plaid shirt and then season two I’m gay” 🤣there were many moments that made me laugh so hard. Especially the actress that played ezme saying “you’re too old for this”. Many were so funny, the cape tricks were definitely hilarious as well. Anyway I’m saving this and I’m going to go watch it again until I know it by heart. Favourite interview by far.
I'm not gonna lie I cried when I got half way through the last episode. I just wish i could see how her life changed after she put away the glasses you know? :(
@@Sculshi noooo it's my fault for watching a video literally titled "farewell to supergirl" haha, I've been putting it off for a while cuz I've been busy xx
@@Sculshi I just restarted, about to finish season 4, that scene where Kara is about to reveal she's supergirl to lena but then puts the glasses back on before she can turn around is so saddd
My favourite part of the video was when she said I have never left catco and the the actor that played Lena was like we had a whole scene and then she was like where was it? And then Lena was like not here.
I haven't been able to watch Supergirl since two episodes after Crisis on Infinite Earths but this is so sad that they had to end Supergirl once they aired Superman and Lois I'm glad they gave it a good ending though but soon ill watch all Supergirl episodes then prepare for the Flash final season it'll only have 13 episodes but what's crazy is the fact that I've been watching the Arrowverse since I was 6 in 2011 and now ill graduate high school and it'll end it does not feel like 9 years of the Flash plus two years were taken from all of us. Crazy how fast time goes by I truly loved this show and it helped me through some dark ass times so yea. I'm also I huge GLEEK so Melissa was absolutely my favorite Supergirl even her Dc 52 remake in the comics is by far my favorite version.
Yes Melissa Benoist obviously played the Girl of Steel on the CW series before that was CBS I believe the mythology of Superman and Supergirl being family related born on a same planet called Krypton they are adopted to the foster family on earth adopted as Clark Kent and Kara Danvers. The original comics mentioned Supergirl was named Linda Lee Danvers that’s the classical version when Otto binder and Curt Swan created. In this show we see Supergirl trying to outsmart her cousin in a perpetuated situation. She saves the day from happening so every hero in this world can build a future to stay focus on standard destination
It was a choice made by the cast and crew. DC left the door kind of open for a season 7, there was a lot still going on at the time. They struggled big time just to get 6 filmed. Melissa's pregnancy and then maternity leave didn't help the situation along with Covid. They faced an uphill battle for season 7, several of the stars were unsure of 6 would happen so they began putting in for parts. Those parts were placed on hold until 6 ended but it was my understanding that the scheduling arrangement with their new parts didn't include season 7. If the ratings had been higher then it was always possible. James Gunn however had already begun dismantling the old DC projects and it's rumored that's the real reason things were wrapped up so fast
