Philip Harper really knows how to arrange. These sort of Christmas medleys are all over the place in the brass band world, but this one stands out for all the right reasons.
The twelve days of Christmas are now well over (unless you use the Julian calendar that is!) but having come across this cheerful medley I have reaally enjoyed listeneing to it on 11 January. 2023. Many years ago I heard the late great Leslie Condon ask why are all the best tunes used only at Christmas, Easter and funerals? We have such a wonderful repertoire of music that celebrates the nativity that it's a shame to restrict them to just a month or so,
