You've done a brilliant job of the van fella kudos to you and your partner, now it's time to enjoy yourselves hit the road and have a great time. Regards Simon
Excellent work, you have every right to be very proud of this build. Loved the whole series of the build and look forward to seeing where your travels take you.
Absolute awesome build the attention to detail second to none.. really enjoying the channel..looking forward to your travel vlogs ..thanks for sharing.. enjoy guys ..sending best wishes.. rich
Wow!!! Credit to you ollie the van looks amazing... Thanks for sharing the build with us.. Hope guys are well.. When's the first trip? Have you thought of a name for said van? Lindsay
Thanks Lindsay! It’s my pleasure, thanks for watching. We’re hopefully going to France this week. Haven’t had much time to plan anything so we’re just going to plan as we go. It’s an ex Balfour Beatty van (construction company) and has a banana engine so her name is Betty-nana 🍌 Betty for short
Hi, I have been following from the beginning of this project and am hugely impressed with the work you have tackled. Have you any idea of the approximate cost to date and would you be able to list the coatings etc. Keep up the great work and enjoy your van.
Hi Alan, thank you for following the build! I am going to make a video of the overall build cost. I have lost count to date but I have kept most of the receipts and will go back and itemise the complete cost of the fit out. Thanks again
Hi again do you know the measurement from the bulkhead to the backdoor please..I'm thinking of using your set up when I do my current van. I have a Vauxhall movano, but it's not a high top like yours. It would be great to know the measurement so I could see if I could get a shower cubicle in mine. It's ok if you don't know it... Thank you
He has the Jumbo. You can look up his measurent on Transitcenter parts page. Yours will have less space. Current vans are not that long . You have to go for an Iveco.
@@JohnDoe-zr6bk thanks very much..I was looking at the Ivecos on eBay..The Iveco iris...I thought his was just the long wheelbase.....Yes I have an old movano/ Renault master 2008 ...
Om-goodness! A very well thought out and executed project!! So many ideas that are so practical to your van - and me reworking my new-to-me travel trailer that is only a little bit bigger than your van!! Especially like the nite lights easily accessible when you open the door from the outside. I could go on and on -- but you get my message! Ty for the ideas and very good videos.
Crisp little build young man. I've a semi high top (made a mistake) so I'm going to have to make a sit down loo all in one shower area. The electrics look mind boggling tbf. All in all a Good job!)) Noticed your milage is really low .. wonder how much you paid for van? I paid 500.00 for my elwb but, the work has been /is being immence. Slight play on front bearings was an eye opener In your MOT check list. Many thanks.Had a stub axle snap on me
Thank you 😊 The electrics will be fine once you get your head around the basic principles. I paid a bit too much let’s just say that 😂 and have spent ever since patching it up and replacing parts to try and make it right. Still a long way to go but will get it how I want in the end. It’s a labour of love now… that’s a good price you got for the van! The slight play on the front bearings is because they are tapered roller bearings and have a slight amount of end float once adjusted. Wow how did that come about?
Thanks mate, it’s definitely something that improves with practice and having a few decent tools helps for sure. The pocket hole jig is a brilliant way to join wood neatly without spending hours cutting fancy joints 👍🏼
@@TurnersWorkshop97 I got some bug nets for camping from e-Bay not much, under £20 I think - as I use a hammock - not all of them have bug nets sewn in, and using tarps as shelters too - bugs think it's a free buffet when you show up. Running buffet - I'm off...lol.
Excellent job and well done. 👍👌. By the way, have you taken the Van over the scales yet to see how much extra weight has been added to the vehicle ? I'm guessing 200 kg but well worth it. You have turned a delivery van into a home. Cheers from 😎🇦🇺🐨🦘
When you said your mercury was in retrograde I felt that so hardddd 😭😭😭😂 amazing vanbuild and super useful video showing your steps! Immediately subscribed 🫶🏻
