Enjoy your videos, and look forward to seeing you again soon "down the trail". Like your way of presenting your great life and all the things you do that you include us along the way. You have a good knack for making good videos that I enjoy and look forward to the next one.
Thank you very much for your kind words, my Friend. It is because of wonderful people like you that I film by adventures. I hope I will always create videos that are worthy of watching. Thx again for the continued support. I really do appreciate you! Best wishes.
Looks like it's still going pretty good! Too bad about the one.. freaking birds!! Well, you replied to me right away 👍😎 Keep getting them!! Have a good night my friend!
Hello Ed. Not too bad. Just wish the birds wouldn't have got on that one. March 1, I will be done with Fisher, Marten, Weasel, etc. as season is over for them. Canine season runs for awhile yet as well as beaver, muskrat, and Otter. Thx for watching my Friend!
Opening that old trail will be a benefit for years to come! There are more up there that I want to open. Thanks again for always watching and commenting, brother! Have a good day.
Thx a lot Brother! Ya, I guess those Ravens get hungry too. Just wish they would eat the bad ones, lol. My Fisher catches are way down this year compared to last year. Of course I didn't really even start trapping this year until January. Makes a difference for sure. Thank you for watching, my friend. Have a good day.
Lol, I'm not going to break the record I set last year on Fisher. I got started far to late this season. March 1, I have to pull my sets for them. Maybe next season I can get at them earlier. Thx for watching Brother!
Good Morning! The haystack moose is back! I'm glad it seems your shoulder mite problem is getting better. Nice looking coyote. That fisher, I don't know much about them, but I'd sure like a chance at one! I bet that second coyote could be sewn up OK? Comments are really hard to keep up with! Have a great day today. It's windy here this morning....
I saw the Moose again today. Yes, the dawgs have all been nicely furred lately. That dawg likely could have been sewn, Although it was a pretty big hole. If they were still selling for a good price, I likely would have skinned it. The way the prices are now though, I bet I wouldn't have got $10 for it. And Maybe not even that much. Those Fisher are quite the Critters! I wish you could catch one sometime. Thank you for always watching and commenting, Gary! You and Cindy have a good night.
@@thecamocowboyoutdoors5693 Thank you for being there too. I got my new FFG magazine yesterday. They say shot or sewn coyotes are worthless....Sad, but I think you did right.
Damn ravens! Two coyotes on my check last night - first one eaten by ravens (luckily it was a bad dog anyway) second one destroyed by a cougar! Can't tell if that was a good dog or not 😊 Enjoy your videos brother! And if you give me a thumbs up I know you seen my comment. We are all busy right now and it is hard to respond every time. Take care.
We take pride in our trapping and in the fur we take. It's sure disheartening when it gets ruined. I hope your next check will be better, brother. Thank you very much for watching! Hope you are having a good day.
Hate that dog was damaged & those fisher looked great,,, man it makes it easy to clear trails with your dozer that’s a plus & helps on the back !! Take care and be safe Garry 👍
I hate it when fur gets damaged too. As trappers we want that fur as good as possible and we take pride in our fur handling as well. I'm so happy to have that dozer! Wish I had more time and money to run it, lol. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Rick! Hope you're having a great day.
When you say you’re going to cut a trail, you really cut a trail. Nice catches and to bad on the one coyote. There will be more to catch. Thanks for the video.
Lol, That trail should benefit me for a lot of seasons, I hope. There's more lines I want to clean out up there. Yep, season on dawgs goes for awhile yet. Hopefully I'll catch a few more nice ones. Still hate losing them to those birds. Have a good evening, Brother, and thank you for watching.
I think it will too! Especially since I can use it for years to come now. I need to open more up. That whole territory up there has been criss crossed with lines years ago. Yes, lots of Skunks. They will soon start coming out again as it gets closer to spring. Thx for watching my brother! You folks have a blessed evening.
I noticed how most of the moose are looking like they typically do in late April-May, shedding their winter coats. That cat is what I need here! Sure makes for nice trails! Great work!
I did see the cow later on and she actually looked good. Maybe because it's warmer than normal, they are shedding out sooner. I could open up so much more territory up there that I could trap but it will take some time. That whole area has been criss-crossed with cutlines years ago. Just need to reopen them. Thank you very much for watching and commenting, brother! Have a good day.
LUV THAT INTRO man that's a big fisher man I miss my 7 that sound is power brings back some amazing memories You work hard Gary I hated back tracking too what a great day on the line ravens are terrible you don't have to reply the comments help your channel you just have to click like and the system recognizes then CYU
Thank you Brother! Ya, I think he is the 3rd largest Fisher I've ever caught. I love having a bulldozer! Wish I had more time to run it. Lots of land to clean up. Sure nice to be able to make that loop now, but there is more old lines to clear out there yet. Maybe next year I can get some more done. Thank you very much for watching and commenting, brother! Have a good day.
Wow that's really some size of Fisher. A moose eating ypur cows hay. My brother's just got about 30 ton of turnip for the sheep. Nice looking Dog there we dont see so many weasels they all walk about in the parliament 😂. Another good fisher. The last dog would have been a good one had the ravons not got him i hate them ravons there horrible. They shoot them over here there a pest take lamb's and older sheep.😊take care until next time 😊
We have Weasels running around our parliament too! Would be nice to do some trapping there, lol. Here we can shoot those Ravens too. And I do shoot every one I can. Usually get some during calving season. They hang around the cattle a lot then. 30 Ton of Turnips is quite a pile! Best wishes to your brother with the farm. Seems like the WEF and the elites have a war against farming now. Thx for watching and commenting, brother! Best wishes to you too!
Your videos are a breath of fresh air. What else can I say. You have great communication skills. I know what you mean about backtracking. Keep moving forward and be the Good Lord willing, see you next time my friend.
Thank you for the kind words, Brother. I hope I will always make videos that you enjoy. Ya, it always seems like such a waste, backtracking. Thank you very much for always watching and commenting! Have a good day.
Hey I think it’s time we passed some magpie, raven trapping legislation. There starting to become a real problem. That was a real nice dawg until they got ahold of it. I hope opening up the new areas in the line pay out in dividends of fur. I like the continued tribute to TNT. Here’s to many KOD’s. Good luck and stay safe out there friend 👍👍
Up here in Saskatchewan, we can shoot them, but they are smart. They seem to know what a gun is, lol. But they definitely are a pain in the butt. Yes, I think opening up that loop will benefit me for years to come. Thanks for watching Brother! Hope you are having a good day.
Thank you Brother! When I first started filming my adventures I did it with the idea that my grandchildren could watch them sometimes to see what grandpa used to do. I never thought that other people would enjoy watching them so much. I'm very happy that you enjoy them! Thank you very much, and have a great day!
Nice looks critters brother! That opened up trail will for sure be a huge advantage for you now. Being a taxidermist, I know that there still is a market for coyotes where the backend is plucked or have a hole like that. We make pedestal mounts out of them and most capes like that would still sell for $60 or so. Keep moving forward and God willing, see you soon!
Thx a lot Brother! Yes I will be able to use that trail for many years to come now. I did think about taking that Coyote, skinning it and tanning it myself. Probably could have used the back for something. Maybe should have. Thx for watching brother! Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for sharing pitty the raven's got to that dog otherwise it looked a good dog nicely fured keep the videos coming keep moving forward catch you next time from the northeast of England near the scottish boarder .👍🦊
Thank you for watching! It is a pity. I'm glad that it doesn't happen very often. Ravens can make a pelt worthless in short order. That Coyote had really nice fur. Thank you very much for stopping in! I always appreciate your comments. Take care my friend.
Yes, I just feel fortunate that it doesn't happen very often. It does hurt a bit though when the dawg has such a nice pelt. Thank you very much for watching, brother! Good day to you.
I agree. Wish if they had to peck on one, they would peck those mangy, shoulder mites ones. Guess they want to eat healthy ones too. Thx for watching and commenting my friend. Have a good day.
I think they are pretty much neck and neck right now. That being said, I would rather be catching Marten. They are alot easier to put up. Thanks for always tuning into my show! Have a good day my friend.
Great catches, camo. i have the same problem here with the birds ripping holes in the fur but it's usually the Eagles here, but its nature and everything must eat. keep it coming Brother, all the best.
Always a good day when I catch some fur. Somedays the traps are empty. It doesn't happen often but occasionally I come home empty handed. Thx for watching brother. Hope you're having a great day!
To tell you the truth, I've only caught one dawg close to my bait. I caught a few that were maybe about 400 to 500 yards from it. But most were quite a ways away. I tend to go back quite a ways and look for trails that they are using. Bait is good in the sense that Ravens get squawking and it draws the dawgs into the general area. It is easier to catch them farther back from the bait because they are not as cautious. When they do come into a bait pile they are very weary and cautious. Their senses are heightened a lot more than when they are farther away, just trotting down a trail. That being said, when it gets warm, they don't have to eat as much, to stay warm etc. So they might not come into a bait pile for a few days. Hope that helps, my friend. Thx a lot for watching and have a good evening.
We never have. I haven't even heard of historical ones. They dozed these lines years ago when they were exploring for oil and natural gas. Every so far down the line, they drill a hole and put down an explosive charge. When they touch it off, they use seismic equipment to test the vibration/shock wave. From that they can tell if there is natural gas/oil. How big the pools are, how far down, etc. Thx a lot for taking the time to watch, my Friend. Have a good day.
Nice day on the line brother can’t win them all still a bigger about the birds but it’s the game we play hope your traps are full stay dry and have a great day brother 👍
Yes, was a decent day. Still a little bitter about those birds but I feel fortunate that I never lose too many dawgs to them. I guess they want to eat too. Thank you for watching my videos, Brother! Have a good night.
