The Maker has spent his life developing an Android that looks and sounds human down to every detail except for one: it isn't. When the Android begins expressing wants and desires, they don't line up with what the Maker had in mind.
Quite enjoyed this. Really liked some of the visual stuff. Liked the exterior flashbacks and the guy at the desk gave a good performance and his dialogue was written strong too. I felt like he loved his robot like a child (as he mentioned no family) and it destroyed him to see his creation go. Lighting was nice in the office scene too but shadows needed filling in some of the robot room. I also kind of like how it felt sort of like the 80s but modern touch. We don't know when its set. Music was good in some places too.. I felt like the first part of dialogue went on a little too long and the breaking of the line (not sure if that was intentional and I know you had the camera tracking round) kind of threw me out of the scene. The chase scene really needed some more impacting sound design to make it work more. By the way, did I spot a gladiator reference? As much as I enjoyed this I kind of miss your old stuff in the way. It had so much heart and was incredibly fun, even if it wasn't technically as impressive as something AFOMI.
