I don't think it's repetitive IMO. The Beach was among my most favorite seasonal events to take part in. There is no doubt that I will deeply miss it... ☹
it's ok should bring more Cosmetics was nice to see a new boss pet but feel like should add more titles rewards again maybe next year for being its 10th year
Idk when the poll was taken but most players today would probably vote to keep the beach. Yes, we focus on the hole, but everything there is descent xp.
I wish they would just drop a loadstone at the Beach event and call it a day. Whatever they replace it with, it will need to be better than the Beach... Everyone there is shocked to hear its the last year. Many are only halfway to the Completesunist title.
This was my first time playing in 10+ years, and I reached the completesunist title almost a week before the event ended. It was possible to get it done this event alone.
if they do discontinue the beach im glad they made it so you can get pets coz i finally got gordie just need rc, hunt and prayer which tbh i cba to train normally anyway
That's sad to hear! I've only been at two Beach events and I really enjoyed them! I heard people saying the Hole wasn't returning, but I didn't realise the whole beach event might not return 😭 I'm glad I was able to get a lot of the pets and cosmetics this year, but I didn't get all of them >< Just thought it would be back :(
They've basically been using that spot for different seasonal events for years. Maybe not as popular as the beach, but I don't understand why they didn't just keep it at that spot instead of making a whole new area for it.
Hey Protoxx, I don't think it will be back next year but for sure in the future. I really enjoyed this year Summer event and got the following; - my first boss pet after just 11 kills - a lot of titles - a nice amount of cosmetics - many mills due to the clue scrolls and random finds - another following pet - many perks overall
I'm not going to lie, I think this video is longer than the total time I spent at the Beach. I don't know why, but Runescape 3 events always felt kinda lazy and unengaging to me so I never really felt like bothering with it.
Sucks I'm not gonna be able to get the Completsunist title, I can't fill the thermometer 50 more times at this point and it's so slow to fill up anyways. Hopefully it comes back in some shape or form, but I'm doubtful.
I'm not doing much there this year, just the sand clues. While I'll miss it a little for nostalgia reasons, I'm looking forward to what's coming next year.
Is it actually gone for good? This is what makes RuneScape better and exciting. I doubt they would just cancel it unless there are other plans and events like the beach event, no?
I've come to like The Beach as it's aged. The community vibes it gave. It's going to be a real shame not having it anymore. We can only hope that maybe Jagex will do something like The Beach in June into July. Summer Hub from July into August.
I finally got 99 Dung in the Hole! But I'm missing out on the final title, as I couldn't get enough thermometers filled... I always preferred drinking the cocktails and getting higher XP, but now the Beach won't return, I've missed out :'(
The beach event was the only thing keeping me attached 😭 it was a good run and someday soon it seems like it’s time hang it up for me as well, as they say all good things end eventually!
I will say the last few Halloween events were actually not bad. It was small skilling stations and a brief quest to unlock them. Thats the ideal event experience imo. And you do this for 3-5 years and do a new thing. Then you rotate between the different events so you are getting a fresh one every year.
I've haven't played RS3 is a few years, but I was always happy I could eventually get 120 dg through the hole, but I'll be stuck at 117 forever looks like lol.
That's the plan anyway. It was supposed to be replaced this year, but the mods got bogged down with other stuff. The new event has been promised for next year, and it's not likely they'll postpone it twice.

Tbh, glad it returned, finally got all the rewards (Sunbathe emote being the final and untradeable one!), hopefully more old cosmetics can return similarly, imho ^^;
I didn't even visit the rs3 beach during this year. If it's over then I think I lost all the free clues. In any case, I do not plan to renew my Premier club and play in 2025.
Honestly I never liked it because it didn't feel like RuneScape. You could plug it into any other game without a single change. I'm hoping the replacement will combine what people like about the Beach while still grounding it in the game's themes and aesthetics
I got all the titles, got the boss pet, got a handful of the pets -- especially the companion pets, got the outfits, and the rest emotes. Hell, I even got the "Rest for 150 minutes" achievement from just chilling on the beach. I'm satisfied. Hopefully the next one will maintain that summer vibe. I'd like to see some kind of swimming and/or surfing activity that gives Agility XP. Seems like a waste having all these bathing suit outfits and never actually being able to go in the water after all.
I wish i hadn't gotten Clawdia's pet on my first kill. I figured that was pretty much it... Idk if I'll be able to get all other pets in less than 48hrs?!?! O.o
Wow, I'm actually genuinely dissapointed that the beach event is becoming discontinued. Color me impressed if Jagex can release a new event in place that can be on par or better than the current Beach event. It will be missed
i find it very sad this is the first time i've ever experienced the beach event, i always just saw it as bank clutter and to train skills i had little or no interest in anyways, but holy hell with the dungeoneering hole and how fun it really is, i wish i had started it sooner. i took the, lets run this into the fucking ground approach, ive had 3 alts slamming dung, one went from 1-85, the others are working on 95 from 85, it's fucking epic and screw normal dungeoneering LOL (only reason i didnt do it on my main is because im already 120)
Maybe I'm just too used to the grind, but I would rather they bring the current beach event back with a few new additions and have them spend the time and resources elsewhere. But as said in the video they already started on the new one, and I doubt they'd do a 180 at this point.
It's gotten really boring for some of us. Something new will be welcome. You might like it too. Who knows, in 10 years, maybe they'll bring the beach back for the sake of nostalgia.
Ill always have a soft spot for the dung hole, it's literally the only reason have 120 dung! I seriously wouldn't have done it any other way and I had a stupid amount of bonus exp and cinder cores to do it The only other good one was sand castle giving you con exp. Good exp for free AFK training However the rest of the beach was meh
Thank god. I've been asking for this since 2018. Who wants the same event over and over? Is this what we actually pay nearly 100 bucks a year for? Been my arguement all along. Give us new content. It's the least you can do for what we pay you.
