I remember the 1989 outbreak. I was in my last year of my Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree, and not only were children urged to get it, so were adults. For me it was a booster to my early childhood vaccinations courtesy of my rightfully vigilant parents.

Hopefully, catchy posters help spread awareness for vaccination programms

Those were really cool posters, I know there's an old clip of Big Bird getting a vaccine, probably around the same time as the Star Wars poster

I have had all three measles, mumps and rubella, they are not a joke. Measles nearly saw me off, unfortunately vaccination would not have helped as I was six weeks old. I was very seriously ill but on top of my illness my parents were subjected to an invasive investigation by social services, as I had been adopted less than two weeks before I contracted measles.

The threat of measles grounded astronaut Ken Mattingly from Apollo 13 because he hadn't had measles at the time. It was early on in the history of the MMR vaccine, so whether astronauts had had the measles or not was the only thing they could rely on,I assume.

People should be well informed so that they can weigh the risks and benefits of getting a "vaccination." They should also know that the definition of "vaccine" has been changed since 2020. That's what true "awareness" is.

They aren’t pushing vaccines, they’re showing pop culture from the 70s and 80s. I don’t understand what the air quotes are for.

@@mavkast , the posters are pro vaccine, are they not? And you use "air quotes" when you are quoting others. It should be quite apparent that is what was meant by "the air quotes." Since this is _not a true_ "vaccine" or "vaccination", I must use "air quotes" because *that is what is in the title* of this video. *No need to gaslight* because there is absolutely nothing untrue about what I wrote. "I don't understand" why you felt the need to respond since it's obvious that the entire video is about "Vaccination Posters" which is, again, literally in the title. Point out what is incorrect about my comment next time.

@@vootamu1 Quotation marks are not necessary for single words like vaccine, vaccination, and awareness, because you don't need to quote them to use them. Otherwise we would all be using quotation marks on everything we write. The term air quotes means that if you consider a subject lightly and apply the speaker's criteria, you can partially understand how they are presenting the concept and the context. Otherwise, the word used in everyday conversation or content, that words doesn't mean what the speaker says.

@@ginnyjollykidd , 🤔if I feel that "quotation marks are" _very_ "necessary", then they are. Who are you to say what is "necessary" and what isn't as it pertains to how I worded my comment?🤐 Are you the comment police? No, but you are someone who wishes to deflect from what I said about this "vaccine." Your entire comment was extremely asinine and "not necessary." Next time, address the content of what was said instead of trying to distract people from what was written.
