Oliver was my first Vocaloid and always has been one of my very favorites. I never thought I'd see him get an update. He sounds so lovely and he's come so far!

Remember that Oliver's voice provider had the same age as Oliver(12) while recording so it's not a surprise if the new voice provider (if not kudos to the kid)sounds a little different

@@s.ekkii_ from my understanding the video says that the newer voice that was showcased was made from already existing samples but it’s more realistic with help from the ai but I also wouldn’t be surprised if the samples used were from a different voice provider

I suspect it could be voiced by someone who can mimic his voice (of course. His og VA is in their 20s now, so can't come back). Though they could be using a different process, where that can use the old existing recording from his vocaloid bank. But new VA makes the most sense in regards to legal stuff

He sounds clearer, but he kinda just doesn’t sound like the same person anymore? Like almost all of the unique and recognizable qualities of his voice are gone??? I feel like if I heard this voicebank without the context of this video, I would never assume it was supposed to Oliver.
