A Fish & Chips Pioneer | Clara Duce | Victorian-Edwardian Documentary 

Loved seeing this & the way it’s been pulled together & narrated - thank you. As an immediate Duce family member, there are some gaps a generation before the current generation & another unsung hero of my father in particular & his brother who paved the way for the current shops mentioned in this documentary & who deserves much credit which is rarely recognised. My father still plays an active part in his own shop, not too far from Watford, & business at the age of 84 & is also proud of his sons, my brothers, who are mentioned in this documentary. I feel blessed & grateful to be a part of this family business as a woman who was finally invited to join my father’s business when post natal depression prevented me from returning to my previous full time job. I expect Clara would have approved as well & I regularly mention her when the subject of fish & chips comes up! If the producer would like to fill in any more gaps, I am sure that my father & his brother (87) would be happy to speak to you!
