As a big naval player, I really like doing this with some of the coastal boats like the LCS ships. Really gets some people excited.

If you want to get away from fun-depleting ground battles, have you considered low-rank bombers? They’re tons of fun, not nearly as bad as the higher ranks where your tail gets cut off after a single round. I’m particularly impartial to the Hampden, excellent bomb load and defensive armament but you have to be aware of your large blindspots and use your flight controls to position enemies on your six.

@@carrott36 i would recommend the PBY Catalina. Maybe even the TBF-1 Avenger. both are stupid in multiple ways

@@carrott36 bombing really isnt anymore fun I'd say. It's literally just dropping bombs with maybe an enemy coming to you. Low br ground battles is probably the most fun. Air arcade is also pretty joyful, idk bout higher br tho.

Only the eight of the fourteen Program 5 Monitors had the 105mm turret of an LVTH-6 fitted (in addition to a pair of Mk 48 turrets on the aft superstructure), the other six Program 5 Monitors having a pair M10-8 flamethrower turrets forward (in addition to the Mark 48 turrets on the superstructure). The boat in game is an in-theatre conversion of a pair of Program 4 monitors (one of which was based on an LCM(6) and the other an LCM(3)), specifically the LCM(3), as that was the only Program 4 Monitor conversion to retain its Mark 52 40mm turret. You can tell Program 4 Monitors from Program 5 Monitors as the former have three cylindrical Mark 50 & 51 on top of their short superstructures, a mortar pit in the well-deck, and a Mark 52 40mm turret, whilst Program 5 Monitors have longer superstructures with two Mk 48 turrets, and either a pair of flamethrower turrets or the 105mm turret. The Program 4 CCB (Command & Control Boat) is essentially identical to the Program 4 Monitor with it's Mk52 40mm turret, but with a communications hut in the well-deck, whilst the Program 5 CCB has longer and lower flat-topped air-conditioned command module buried in the well-deck, and a Mk 48 turret in lieu of the Mk 52 turret. Both a Program 4 & 5 CCBs have very similar superstructures with three Mk 50 & 51 turrets. The Program 4 & 5 ATCs (Armoured Troop Carriers) were essentially identical, with the same armament of three Mk 50 & 51 turrets, but the Program 5 ATC had an armoured helicopter deck over the well-deck /troop compartment which was also designed to resist 81mm mortar hits. The Program 4 LCMM (minesweeper) looks like an LCM(6) covered in slat-armour, with a minimal superstructure, it's armament consisting of Machine Guns in Pintle mounts, and the Program 5 LCMM is basically identical except for a pair of Mk 51 turrets amidships in the well-deck.

Judging by the level of professionalism seen here, I think he never thought that either. :P

I certainly had fun with Japanese destroyers. Mean things they are.
