This is the most successful recreation we’ve had yet! Salt & Straw has been our favorite ice cream shop since we moved to the west coast. We get their monthly specials every single month, from Thanksgiving-themed flavors to flowers to cereal. But this classic flavor has always been one of the best - cinnamon ice cream with bits of crumbled snickerdoodle cookies, still soft while frozen in ice cream. With the help of their recipe book, our recreation of Salt & Straw’s Cinnamon Snickerdoodle ice cream was outrageously delicious and completely spot on to what we’ve had in store. We learned some crucial ice cream tips that Salt & Straw creator, Tyler Malek, included in this book and we fell in love with their ice cream base.
