Born in 58, raised on Beatles, Stones, Zep, etc. When New Wave hit it knocked me over and I've loved it ever since. As so many have said, the 80's were a damn fine decade, certainly my favorite.
If you were of an age where you could enjoy the music of the 80s first hand, you were truly blessed. I was in my teens and early 20s, so I was there for the techno and blitz eras, right the way through to the acid house/garage stuff. I think the 60s and the 80s were by far the two best decades for music by miles.
I am Lucky i did everything a Kid can do in the 80s.Sleep on cementarys, broke a arm during BMX,get KO during skating and steal cigarettes! I never recover Till today ,Long live the 80s and thx for reading❤
2 years later... Here is the live performance. Watch the guitarist, Paul Reynold's, fingers closely. You get a middle finger *and* at the end, he throws his Ebow across the stage. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SNs6PysqBjs.html

Here's where Trump got the inspiration for that thing on his head. Bought this on a Jive 12-inch import in '86; it runs about nine minutes, with shorter versions on the B-side. Still a favorite.

It's Top of the Pops. Almost all performances on that show were mimed. Bands had to fight tooth & nail to perform live on there. Was such a hassle, so most just agreed to mime instead.
Ozone hole above the arctic, middle east strife, republicans against democrats...and all I wished for was a photograph of my girl. Yeah, I want to be put back into the matrix.
