A super playing, budget oriented Dillon flugelhorn (link to more info and purchase below), compared to a nice CarolBrass Giuffredi Bb trumpet, and also to a fine Puje (info below). I play the Puje with a trumpet mouthpiece AND a trumpet/flugel piece as well. Enjoy! :)

Speaking my language with a PUJE in the mix. I bought a PUJE Classic with rose brass bell and thumb trigger in 2015 (serial number 12) before the builder moved from Maine to Oregon; totally love the horn, probably the best $1,800 I ever spent. Carol Brass valve block was used in mine and can't say enough good things about that choice.

Impressed with the Dillon flugel. Nice sounding axe. All 3 are very sweet-playing horns.

Great value. I've been quite impressed with Dillon's sales staff; they really work to make their buyer's happy. Used horns get a great return option as well as new items. I'm impressed. :)

Jonathan - sounding good as always. I do really like the sound of the PUJE with the TF piece. Are you still using that as your travel horn?

All nice but for $475 I’ll take the flugelhorn at the drop of a hat…it sounded just as good as the PUJE. Can we get the Dillion shipped free ? As always my favorite brass RU-vid station. Paul Yes thumbs 👍up

For Mariachi style you'll probably want a shallow(er) mouthpiece cup... What mouthpiece are you using now?
