Disclaimer: I pronounced gagamaru's name incorrectly a few times throughout the video, by the time I noticed this it was already too late haha. will try to get it right the next time. Also I have been watching in dub cause I dont want people to look at subtitles but if most prefer sub I can switch it moving forward, what do yall think?

There are some things that get mistranslated in dub so sub might be better. Edit: actually I’m enjoying the dub. Keep it.

The VAs in sub put more feeling and sound better in my opinion, some things sound cooler in sub and i honestly didnt have a reason to go to dub, butbit all depends on what you prefer

@@alilniko8016 I agree and I do think some actual football-related things are translated differently in sub but I like the dub in terms of the actual video. Radman, try watching the episodes you already have in subbed and decide based on if they change how you would’ve made the videos.

The correct way to pronounce Gagamaru's name is 'Goatmaru'. Also, in my opinion sub is better than dub.

disappointed that they changed Gagamaru saying Tackling was his weapon to body flexibility im sure it was a retcon in the manga but i like that it implies that he originally didnt know his real weapon

Something worth noting that bothered me for a while about the term “striker”. in the show it’s not used in the traditional sense. When they say striker they are really talking about is attacking mentality so wingers (as well as wing backs) are also considered strikers. It’s easy to get mixed up only thinking of positions

I think that you’re misinterpreting ego for selfishness when you say that Messi is the opposite. Ego isn’t being selfish, it’s being confident. Understanding what you’re capable of and what your teammates are capable of and using that to destroy the other team. That is textbook Messi AND Ronaldo. 4:25 i thinks this looks more like 4-5-1 fullbacks and center backs in defence. Midfield has leftmid right mid cdm ( the most underated position) and two cams, or maybe its cf i can't tell. And then the striker.

thank you! and yeah unfortunately stats like chances created are tough to measure. This is my own opinion, but I think it doesn't add that much value anyways, basically any pass that leads to a shot counts as a "chance created"

Messi has an ego. the term "ego" refers to ones confidence in their ability and sense of own worth. Anyone who knows Messi Knows that he has full confidence in his ability and his insane ability inspires the players around him. If Messi didn't have an ego, then he wouldn't try and make insane solo runs against whole teams on his own. He Wouldn't make impossible curving shots outside the box into the top corner if he was just a pure "Team Player". So you are wrong, Messi doesn't contradict ego's philosophy. I would even say that nobody embodies it as much as him except for Cristiano Ronaldo.
