AfterGlow is a huge improvement over the standard, built-in Glow effect that comes with After Effects. Once installed, you can apply the AfterGlow preset to your layers just like you would the old glow. And you can customize it with the same familiar controls. This glow preset will let you adjust the ratio of the gradient, and create more realistic glows that are intense and brighter at the edge, and have a longer, gradual falloff. Separate controls allow you add a huge, faint glow around the whole layer. Use the glow on shapes, text, or footage. You can also add glow streaks, and rotate them with the controls.
