woah I used to watch these types of tutorials religiously not long ago, now there's one for me that's WILD the result is dope man. I'd personally have less chromatic aberration and edge blur (subtle is always better) and posterize time is where the sauce is really generated. for the blur moving around, it's not a shape layer with turbulent displace - it's fractal noise, which means you don't have to keyframe anything ultimately my principle is always you can't save bad assets with cool effects. my priority is always finding and generating the best archive and images possible, because that's the difference maker as opposed to all of these fancy effects. you killed it though man, great video 👏
Thank you! Appreciate you taking the time to comment and share a little peak into what goes on behind the scenes. I couldn’t agree more about the assets and it clearly shows in your videos. I always preach that using high quality assets is way more important than you think. I’m upset that I didn’t think about using fractal noise to drive the blob instead of the animated shape layer. I’m even more upset that I cut out the part about posterize time… I wasn’t too sure about it so I decided to cut it from the video ugh Again, thank you for taking the time to leave this comment. Insanely valuable!!
Special thanks to Mapal for enabling the creation of my new video. I'm truly inspired by Dodford and Magnatesmedia's remarkable video editing style, and I aimed to replicate it. Without Mapal's channel, my video wouldn't have been possible. I'm thrilled to share my new video, all thanks to the encouragement and resources provided by Mapal's channel.

Completely agree. Your tutorials have been incredibly informative and some of the only on RU-vid with this level of quality and information. Really appreciate what you do!

I watch every single one of your tutorials. Doesn't matter if its a 20 min tutorial or a 50 min. So much to learn from you. I hope you make some more videos on Collage Animations and Dodford and Vox style. Keep doing the great work bro 🔥🔥
Binge watching your content over the past two days. So good. Thank you for your work and wishing you all the success with this channel! Pease out buddy 👌
I love you mate! This was great. Learned a lot from this video. And not just the edit, but also about useful plugins that you've used in the process! Thanks❤❤
Maybe I should be embarrassed that I don't know the guy you're replicating, but that doesn't matter to me. I picked up /so many/ tips and tricks from the way you work.
Hey man, thanks for all these tutorials, they help me big time, can you please tell me how you get the flashy glitch transitions between your cuts in the video.
Hey man thanks for putting your knowledge so everyone can learn from you for free , can you please provide assets in your next tutorials so we can practice with you maybe?
Hey buddy. Great videos. Really appreciate all the detail and breakdowns. I would appreciate it if you can do one breakdowns on the bytebytego channel videos. This would mean a lot to me
With a blur map it’s a lot easier to get the blob look. Especially if you use fractal noise to drive the black and white values. In general I also find it easier to anime a shape than a path. Few more options
Glad to hear! I've used both mac and PC, but I find even with my PC that's has a great GPU and CPU still struggles with AE. Might consider switching @@mapal
I'm very lucky to watch your videos, but I think you want to kill me through your creative talent. When I see your piece of art here I cannot skip it believe me. I'm from Morocco, did you know what happened in the past World Cup 22 in Qatar, especially when Portugal was kicked out and poor RONALDO cried like a baby. 🤣🤣
It’s a mix of both. The way I like to see it is editing is crafting the story, the animation is adding the little details like the blur map, the text highlights etc
What ? That red thing with text ? Thats what your trying to teach as an effect ? Looks so bland and nothing going on there....and this has a name sorta like as if its so NICHE. DODFORD lol ???
please make a video on how to create that ali abdaal type paper unfold effect (as it is), i have literally searched the whole internet for that, please
Seen all the little tricks you do visually to get the end result is really amazing. There’s a lot of steps that go into it I hadn’t realized. I wonder if there is a case for making a template so you don’t have to keep redoing this for each scene.
Someone please tell me what was that transition between the section titles and tutorial. And how to do it??🙃 I feel like it was something to do with a paper cut-out with a negative layer on top. Am i right? Or maybe CC page turn?
I'm staring at my screen speechless because, firstly, I can't understand how you know all this and secondly, because I understand what you're explaining. Thanks for enlightening 🙏🏻✊🏻👌🏻
man i love your content very refreshing and proven good taste style but why u audio always feel like flat ? just boost above audio level safezone. Not only you sometime other professional so same on their content, it well crafted content but audio sound like not in good form. Just my 2 cents. Somehow i dont know why some standard professional audio level seem not pleasing enough and non professional no edit kind of audio can sound better as overlevel can always turn down it; but if audio too flat as u turn up volume still not sound good and hard to hear.
Hey i love the video! I have a question would you make a video on how to edit like Jeremy Etheir I want to get into creating gym videos but I want to add a little bit of spice into it just like Jeremy does but I don't know how to make edits like he
