A frosty flight to Goodwood 

Hello Geoff. Just wanted to thank you for including the bit at the start of your video regarding my first solo flight. I don’t think the plane you highlighted is actually me, but no matter. I must just have disappeared behind the tower by that point. Anyway, it was nice hearing a voice I recognised while flying the circuit and lovely talking to you in the cafe afterwards. Thanks again. Another great video. I was flying out over Hayling Island and then East past Bognor Regis yesterday. It was very cold but at least I had the cabin heater going. I really love your videos as everything is nice and relaxed and it's a pleasurable ride-along.

Super video of your flight from Goodwood to Spire View, really enjoyed seeing the sights around the Solent. I see you met Richard at Goodwood, what a smashing fellow he is. And Rob from the tower at Gwd, top FISO. Thanks for mentioning the chap who did his first solo in the Sportair C42 G CKYL. He made a great job of it. I was watching him from the tower I'm his instructor. Top day for all involved. He mentioned that he had met you in the restaurant area. Catch up next time we are both at Goodwood.

Nice video as usual. I flew over Spire View this afternoon on my way back from Henstridge to Lower Upham. Looks a nice airfield.

My first ever flying lesson was from Goodwood, in 1993. Happy memories! Great to see another flight from you - well grabbed amid the winter weather! 😁👍

Those coiled spring pen holders would be ideal mounted on Eves side of the dash to hold her Sherbert Liquorice. Make it part of the pre flight check list.

Another beautiful videos from the Lord and Lady Dark….. What a stunning setting to fly in ….. ( green with envy this end, sir….) Nice for you to be able to meet the “Dark Lord Saviour “ from Goodwood ATC… 👍….. I noticed you sent the car on the track into a right spin as you approached the hold at 32…… …. I guess being in the presence of an aviation ’Legend’ like the Dark Lord was enough to break his concentration ..!!!….😜 This time of year can offer such great vistas for we aviators … ( not totally sure about the gremlins in the final shot though !!!😱🤣…. Great film , what a day for it? I love Goodwood. Me and Anne's goto airfield. I nearly flew today Geoff but got bogged down with preparation work for a wood burning fire. We must meet up there for a lunch?
