Whats ur wrist size ? i have skinny 6.5inch wrist currently using FR 255s thinking to get fenix 6 pro solar too considering price drop .. will it be too big n heavy ?
Fantastic video, very well done. If you were thinking on buying that watch today, would you do it, or would you wait until the Fenix 7 is launched instead?
not only was the review helpful but the presentation was beautiful; the intro shots were great. visually pleasing and well edited. sound quality way very good as well. techincally impressive, well done!
You can use the Garmin Explor app with the fenix 6 for better detali, and use it to set markers on the map. Perfect for big display that work seemless with the Fenix 6,
Great review. Very nicely explained. Any view on the display. How different is it from Sapphire . I read it’s more crisper . Also how is the glass . Is it prone to scratches
Can you please explain how to turn off the GPS to save battery life? When I charge my watch, it shows 5 days battery life and I suppose all apps are running! so what apps did you keep running in that video to have the best use of the watch and have a battery life of around 16 days? Thanks in advance
Hey there. What watch do you use? GPS will not be used unless you are tracking an activity. It is possible that the SPO2 sensor on your watch is sapping your power. Hard to know without knowing what watch you are rockin' Thanks for the question. - Matthew
@@GreatoutdoorsIe1976 Hi there, my query was concerning the Fennix 6 pro-solar. Yes, SPO2 might be the option that is consuming a lot of battery but do you set your watch in a special setting to save battery and have a good track of your sport activivits too?
Hey! Great video. I have the same watch face on my solar titanium dlc. I wonder if you could tell me what it states in days when you fully charge it please. Mine says 9 day's. Thanks!
Mine usually says 13/14d when fully charged. This may be due to the settings you have enabled. For example 24h Pulse Ox will take a chunk out of the battery! All the best.
Great question! To be honest what we noticed more so is a orange tint due to the Power Glass on the Solar model. I makes NO difference to the usability though and you would only notice it if you had another watch beside it to compare! Have a great day!
There is problem (no problem at all according to garmin) with few different suppliers of screens. One of them has blue ish color, with poor contrast and bad visibility at night time. Garmin in past replaced watches with that defect, but now they saying its within the spec...
Hi, Great video, love the look and the design of the watch. I was woundering what wrist size you have. The watch seems to fit you good and with all the shops closed where i live its hard to try out in stores. FYI: I had a 6s but the band was just to short, my wrist size is 155-160mm
I have about the same as you then! 160mm. Yes, it fits well, with a good few holes spare on both sides. Perhaps the 6S is small on you as it is designed for people with smaller wrists! Hope this helps. - Matthew P.S. is the link to it in our shop - greatoutdoors.ie/shop/garmin-fenix-6-pro-solar-edition-black-slate-grey
I think that the 6 pro solar is still a smart choice personally. Here is a link to it on our online store. www.greatoutdoors.ie/shop/garmin-fenix-6-pro-solar-edition-black-slate-grey
Thanks! Depending on the model the fenix 6 pro solar either has Stainless steel or Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coated titanium bezels. I believe this model has steel bezels. The Titanium models has DLC.
