You're probably the best art related youtuber out there. Really. The editing, the humor, the information... everything is always on point. Thank you. Much love from Brazil.
Marco Bucci when I use digital apps too much, I rely on the undo button to erase. In real life I don’t have and undo button and so when I draw traditionally, I wait for my brain to erase the mistake I just made on paper! ITS SUCH A HABIT! :’) Could you make a video on digital animation shading on FlipaClip? Maybe you can test it as a review in your opinion.
Ok I went to art school. After dropping out just before beginning the second year, I accrued $28,000 in debt and I've no degree. You explained everything I should have learned in that time period in under fifteen minutes. Nice job.
2:28 You tellin me that Walter Elias Disney came back from the dead, learned how to use a computer, and personally emailed you to commission you to do some artwork?
oMG. Thanks. Drifted but trying to come back. Remember this white board suggestion ages ago but shrugged it. Maybe it's the advent of drawing tablets makes it so much more amazing now. You sir are amazing for sharing this. Love love your work and tutorials. What a wonderful influence. Bless you and yours. Keep it up.
"Some say he puts both feet into his trousers (& pants!) at the same time...."....I found the price of white boards pretty expensive so painted a wall white and stuck 3x (3 by 7+ ft) transparent acrylic sheets (@ £25 each in the UK), the only issue is it becomes quite appealing for the whole family to scribble and leave messages... Love the channel, wonderful videos : )
Wow working on a whiteboard is such a great idea for quick concepts...I might just get one myself now! Never thought you could use tracing paper over a whiteboard either! So interesting! Thanks a lot for sharing this!!
I am not an artist, but I enjoy watching drawing videos, and your videos are, hands down, the most unique I have seen and they are highly entertaining.
Man, you are something special, I love your videos, and the quality of the information you give us imo is outstanding. The part with "phaser beam uploader" made me laugh. After each of your videos I have an urge to draw, dunno what you think about that, but I call it success on your part. Thank you Marco, for everything you do.
Wow. Just wow. I stumbled on this video and it is humbling, educational and a ton of fun all at the same time. So much to learn. Thank you for putting this out there for all to see and oggle at.
SOOO many amazing little tips and tricks in this video. This is invaluable to new and current artists alike. Awesome video!! Love the extra mile you went to create those comedy moments too haha
Marco I could just hug you dude! This Video has been so great and fun to watch, and the whole white board idea has completely blown my mind .......how I've never seen it used this way blows my mind, I need to go get one like RIGHT NOW. You Sir are a legend...."I shall now continue to watch this episode again.....carry on" :)
thanks for the great tutorial. I'm learning at a Fine Arts academy but noone ever showed me how shading really works. May suggestion will be go more advanced on that. like how the lights will affect the whole body not only the head.
So now you're a comedian as well. I approve of this. Comedy aside, this is a surprisingly genious idea that I would've never come up with myself, but I'll totally consider for the future!
oh this is actually, very very useful. I've never even thought of using whiteboard for my sketches, I do sometimes scatter them on paper first when I work. But whiteboard is actually a great idea.
🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖 i love your video!!! And the technology used 😝 😂thank you so much Marco for the video! I will start using my white boring magnet board more often for my first design approaches
For me, flipping the canvas has an additional affect of making my drawing look completely disjointed! Like if i forget to flip for a while, I'll finally flip the canvas and will just drop my jaw. How could I not see how much lower that eye was than the other? The entire face looks like its two seperate half-faces at slightly different angles , joined in the middle!
This was great! Very informative. Thank you for creating and posting it. QUICK QUESTION though, could you point your more novice viewers towards videos that would cover your Photoshop Editing Process?
Thanks! I actually don't have videos that deal with technical Photoshop training. I may get into that in the future, but that hasn't been an area of interest in my own teaching. This is also largely because there's so much of that online already!
@@marcobucci Thank you for replying. That's totally understandable. Could you maybe make a recommendation of what those techniques are called, so that I had something to put into a search? By the way, I never anticipated you replying and now that I have you hear I just wanted to say that I love your hybrid approach of traditional and digital methods. I see a lot of students who almost don't care for traditional media at all and your video was such a great look into different approaches. Thank you!
@@newbietubie Sure. I'd recommend becoming familiar with some common layer blending modes, like Multiply, Screen, Linear Dodge, and Overlay (and of course the default, which is 'Normal'). I'm also using the 'Lock Transparent Pixels' box to keep my brushstrokes on the dragon layer. A basic familiarity with the "Brush" window (where you can edit the properties of your brush) is useful. A more advanced tool I use here is the layer mask, which is also worth looking into, but only after the former stuff.
@@marcobucci Oh my goodness!!!! You are an amazing human being! Thank you very much! I'm very excited and I'll be subscribing and following you on RU-vid and Instagram! I look forward to your future videos! Take Care.
Off topic. Yay putting a face to the voice now! Btw it.s been bugging me for a while now, there.s a show on tv where the speaker, has i would be ready to swear, the same voice as yours :))) tell me did you ever do voiceovers for tv shows (I think this one.s related to scrience) :))) i have to knowww
