It is so refreshing to listen to a different point of view, most of which is lost on a 70 year old who until 2020 did not know you tube photography existed.
Very nice video - and great shots as well. I can definitely relate to not wanting to shoot the same shot over and over again. I guess it's a big reason why I shoot less these days - I'm very much set work wise (in fact I could see myself stay on for another 20+ years in my current job, but that's another matter). The thing is, I do the same commute to and from work, that I have been doing for 5 years by now. There isn't an angle, weather and light condition, I haven't photographed under multiple times, so for photography I have transitioned to concert photography, where things are never really the same - even if I do photograph the same band two or three times every year. Btw., It doesn't hurt, that I needed new lenses to get the best out of the concerts 😉 Anyway, I hope to move next year, so maybe I'll find new subject matter after moving to another part of the city and my every day carry camera will see more action again.
Hilarious starter pack idea and smart. I know some of mine. There will ALWAYS be a scooter or bicycle pic thrown in. I also "shoot the shooter" and will always capture a person taking photos. Beyond that, I'll really have to give it some thoughts. Your starter pack idea was so clever as a way to get my brain started. Thanks, LL.
@@PuddingPepzi oh my god sorry it’s 6am here and I just woke up didn’t realise you were commenting in the video I have just posted hahaha 🤣 I need coffee ☕️ thanks for watching!
Oh thank you lovely! Yes I try and make it more about life in general as I feel that’s relatable and deeper than just gear or photos you know? I’m glad you enjoyed and appreciate you watching
Thank you for your upload .Today i see so many folks using their smart phones v a camera . Fully understand the ease of use and with application of software it will get better ! Keep up the good work and uploads !!!!
I am regretting not getting that lens in orange 🔥 Personally I am not bothered with developing style. Explore everything and take your time. Key thing is to be clear of your vision and goal. Goal could be just to shoot regularly and see what you enjoy. It is important to explore what you are getting from photography. Trying to be successful at your hobby and being hard at oneself thinking we are not good enough seems a very western concept. It is supposed to be fun and you should be enjoying everytime you get a chance to take photos
Love this video! Great insights. Love your outfit too btw. My biggest impediment right now is time. I wish I was able to go out photographing more. Your website looks freaking amazing!
@@timcarter2147 thank you Tim! Oh my god I feel you on that. RU-vid is the only time I’m getting to take photos for personal work. I am going to schedule in a day or two a month to do it so it happens! Ohhhh thank you ☺️ it’s so nice to have that control with the website and finally feels like it’s getting to a good point with how it looks. Thanks for your support lovely!
@@LucyLumen my schedule is such a mess. I can’t count on myself to give myself the time. But I like that idea. Just put one or two days on the calendar a month that I’m busy. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Cell phones Have k i ll ed the digital camera market because they are making the censors better in the phones. I am strictly film but tell those who just use a phone to get a good point and schoot digital for better photos. It is the hipster instagrammer infleuncers who don't care about what they use.
