There's another benefit to more powerful mini and regular pcs (I am running a nuc mini pc with a 2060 in it, but the smaller ones built off of Ryzen RDNA2 integrateds can probably do this too) and that is CRT emulation. Scanlines of all types are available and it works really well if you have a tv or monitor that can do HDR
I use my Xiaomi Mi Box Android tv as emulation device up to Ps1 for my Tv, the only one PS1 emulator greatly there is ePSXe 2.0 and 8 & 16 bit games on retroarch
Setting something like this up on a budget I'd recommend a Linux OS simply due to the smaller install size on your drive. Storage isn't super expensive but it's a thought for anyone on a budget; it's a solid option. (posted mainly for algorithm purposes I like your channel)
I love launchbox and have since paid for the full version, sadly there is no Linux version. I've never actually setup a Linux machine but I see myself messing with it eventually.
Thanks for the recommendation on Aerofara. I had this same issue so I picked up a small factor PC but it wasn't powerful enough to run Saturn well. I will try this one for sure. I'm not really interested in emulating anything systems release after 1999.
If your router has a USB port it's likely built into the firmware. My router is a Netgear and it's built in feature is called Readyshare. I'm sure other brands are similar.
