Mum was a cream deodorant and what you found was the bottom, not the lid. The marking on the prescription bottle are roman numerals and represent the number of ounces the bottle would hold. The bottle you found held 3 ounces of liquid. Sorry about your Mother. You were a good son to her.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure that you and the lovely Natalie had. I’m so happy that you two “found”one another. It’s very obvious that you have many shared passions. Great bottle finds but the arrow point, WOW!!! So humbling to hold an artifact that was made by someone else’s skilled hands,some many thousands of years ago. You are perfectly right on wearing protective gear! One Rockhounder found themself in the hospital fighting for their life from some nasty organisms they picked up off a rock! People be careful of what you do with your hands when you go rockhounding!
